From what i've seen Ripper and Sabre do a pretty good job as moderators. I wouldn't imagine it was an easy job, I was offered it last year but it didn't work out for one reason or another, but i've seen the hard work that the board moderators especially put in. Whatever you do though don't make Bushie a moderator.

Also Moo is the people's mod.

I think that is what make's us work well together.

Rip is very positive and look's for the good in every situation, obviously a moderator of the people .

I on the other hand lean more toward's the side of slightly disgruntled as a supporter at our clubs fortunes.

It bring's about a happy medium, resulting in poster's from either side of the field getting a fair go. The Conolly debate was a good example of this

Myself and Rip have discussed in the past a 3rd moderator and have a one poster in mind, but the guy's at the top didn't believe we needed another one. In the end I agreed.

Try living in the 'burbs where you're the only "Ang Mo"... Add to that a pair of very blonde children and you kind of stick out a fair bit... Let's just say I know what it's like to be a victim of rather overt racism....

I think you just summed up why Ripper and Sabre should stay the mods, there would be nothing worse than having no banter with the Eagles fans. The Eagles board is just one big circle jerk.

Hmmmz....

There seems to be a lot of resistance to the issue being raised. Whats the problem with Roundhouse raising it? There is no problem with raising the issue IMO.
Mods are inconsistant, and in a way remind me of umpires ( and don;t we all just love them ).
They all have the same rule book but seem to make their calls in their own way.
I find it perplexing one Mod gives keeps touching you up whereas another mod/s don't even bother you, much less even ever spoken to you ever, which makes me think it comes down to personality. The censoring/removal of posts is questionable at times, and other it is warranted. The new Dockerland perhaps?
Just very interesting how things are ran at times......
