No way near as much as you slagging off Tony Free

Thats still the single most embarrasing post on these boards

That so called hero was the lowest piece of human to walk the planet, you would have no idea. If you are even remotely close to the Richmond Football Club, you would be aware that it is a pretty common theme from those people who have been unfortunate enough to meet him.

So lets get this right.

Was that before or after they appointed him captain ?

Put up or shut up .

I have met him ... more than once ... found him a lovely bloke.

LMAO @ the way you infer that you are involved in the inner circle at the RFC without ever quoting anything of any substance or relevence .

Whats your connection , hanging around in the car park like some 13 year old trying to pick up an autograph ?

take note you old fool, the incident has been noted several times on this forum. It really isnt all that bigger secret that freezer had an alcohol problem, nobody ever said he was a crap footballer as he wasnt, FACT is he had a terrible record on the bottle and FACT also is he's alleged jaw break at training was the result of him taking on the wrong fella....Put up with these facts or shut up, if you knew anybody in the inner circle they would confirm this for you. ...Not like you to run to Oxx's aid IDGAF, cut him loose mate he's bringing you down.

Interesting. I would have though guys like Aaron James had the well publicised problems when on the turps. Why wasn't this FACT about Tony Free ever reported in the media. Was it a cover up?

I don't remember a broken jaw at training, only the Dermie incident. Can you elaborate?

there was definitely an alleged training accident that wasnt the case, unsure of what year but reasonably sure it was another jaw incident, will chase it up for you however. my mail comes from Mark Chaffey who a fair p1sshead himself claims nobody was ever keen to partner freezer out on the town.great bloke off the piss but had massive issues on it, please anybody that knows anybody at the club please ask and they will confirm this for you.I know two current players at the club that also elude to this fact.

Records mail is from an incident he himself was involved in,he has talked about it on the forum before. smoke and fire.If you knew who Wally Matera was you would also trust his word. I'm so sorry it is so hard to comprehend that such a hero (captain of one of the most dissapointing teams in the past decade) was a pr1ck of a bloke on the p1ss, but there really isnt any reason for anyone that has condemned him to make it up. Nobody could not rate him as a player he was tough brave and a good leader, simply couldnt handle grog.

just on that, freezer never urinated on girsl at nightclubs, just started on blokes for bad looks or spilling a drink on him type stuff. there would be plenty of blokes in this category that would never be pointed out by the media.

Tony was great. Not only one of my favourite players, but a gentleman to boot. Probably most of the incidents you said are correct, Rooster – they’ve been well publicised - but what about the other 99% of things he did in his life.

Clubs don’t make nut cases captain of their club. I never saw the players shy away from him when he entered a room lol. He seemed to be well liked by his peers. A lot of great blokes have difficulty handling the grog and I won’t deny he was a hothead, but somehow these are not the things I will always remember him for. He was a great little player, a good leader who was fearless. We never seemed to mind his hot-headedness on the field for some reason

Not calling anyone a liar, because a lot of what you say rings true, but you can only judge ppl on how you find them, and not once did Tony ever act out of line from what I saw. Doesn't mean he didn't, just I never saw it. All I saw was the good Tony :)

Come on Adolph and friends.

I dont know the reasoning behind deleting the thread "we are ****e"

Maybe the one about fat people as it isn't really a footy topic(unles you're rosy:D)

No pm explaining the decisions ???

hmmm.....

Ploise exploin!
