Monday night television

Why do all the networks decide to put their best shows on Monday night - it drives me crazy.

For instance tonight we had at 8.30pm

Fox Footy - On the Couch
Uk Tv - The Office
ABC - Four Corners expose on police corruption and then Media Watch
Ch 10 - the Big Brother finale

Then at 9.30pm
ABC - Enough Rope with Denton
Fox 8 - The Amazing Race
Ch 9 - The Apprentice
Ch 10 - Queer Eye

And to make matters worse at 10pm
SBS - Oz

Yet on Tuesday nights the television schedule is a barren wasteland.

Can't they spread it about a little ?????

PS : Its no co-incidence that there are not any Ch 7 shows that appear.

I watched Pizza for the 1st time tonight. What a classic.

Monday for me is:

10.30 Sopranos

There's another show I missed.

Why the **** do they have the two best HBO shows, Oz and The Sopranos, clashing with each other.

It doesn't make sense.

I agree Daytripper! It's bloody annoying..during the week there is jack **** on telly, but they got all the good shows on Monday...SPREAD IT OUT!

On Mondays for me it was usually maybe Home and Away, BB Nominations, Queer Eye then the Apprentice.

Tonight it was BB Finale, shower , now im on here then in 20mins, off to watch the apprentice!

Got to agree, choc. As I have sporting commitments on Monday nights, I even bought a second VCR a month or so back, just so that I could tape The Sopranos AND Oz ... how anal is that !?

Couldn't believe Channel SWINE switched The Apprentice and The Sopranos from Tuesdays to Mondays ... bastards !!

You can bet they'll treat the next series of West Wing with equal disdain, when and if they ever get around to showing it that is !

The networks don't care about us, we're only the viewers. All they want to do is sucker us into watching so they can charge that little bit more to advertise on the station.

All the top shows go head to head so the stations can get ratings. Thats all that matters to them. They dont give a stuff if u miss out on a show on another station, as long as your watching there station, they're happy.

You get they're right, but you can't manage correct usage of you're and their?
