I just woke up and had an sms from a mate of mine (who is always in the know and is usually right about this kind of thing) that states that Mooney is doubtful for this week.

Anyone heard this?

Hmmmm I'm not so sure. Hawkins has done absolutely nothing in the past few weeks and I don't think he even deserves his place as an emergency.

As far as form is concerned, perhaps that is true, but who else would you have come into the side to replace Moons? Playfair? Spencer?

The way things have come about, his emergency spot is warranted.

He's only been out of the side for two weeks, one of which there was no VFL game.

Now Tom has disappeared without playing a minute, so it seems that a late change is a big possibility.

Very interesting this development. Think Blake will take a lot more responsibility this week if Moons Misses. It allows otto to spend a lot of time in the ruck (Not a bad thing considering St K's ruck stocks).

Think Otto, TOmma and Nab will really stretch the Saint Defense

Obvious only one person thinks he's done nothing.
Perhaps Yid could give us a better option if Mooney is out.Be interesting to see who they think could be a better choice.
