Mooney To Miss V Saints??

Heard the back end of a story on KRock this morning saying Mooney will not be played for disciplinary reasons?? Like I said I didn't hear the whole thing so can't be sure but I did hear THEM (being KRock not Thomson) say that "Thomson has said Mooney will not play this week". Surely this cannot be true, wouldn't he take a Mick Malthouse style approach and put the team's(whole season) first over making a statement against Mooney. Has anyone else heard anything like this, hope it is just sensationalisation (is that even a word??) Thoughts???

It's rubbish... Thompson was 'On the couch' last night and said Mooney's place wasn't a certainty. He never said Mooney won't play.. load of media crap.

Of course Mooney will play, although the club needs to set an example to not only Mooney but to the other players that being suspended isn't good enough.... obviously by making it seem like he isn't a certainty to play.

He said he was ****ed off with him and on the Sunday night he said Moobey may not play as Blake would not be dropped for Mooney. Mooney was no cert but He did alude that he was in a fired up mood (MT) when he said that so im sure he would be in (after another blasting) and start on the Pine in place of Henry.

Sanity prevails and Mooney is a definate starter. Aparently they seriously considered not selecting him this week. Ablett and Rooke are possibilities. Let's hope for a good result.
