Morrison goes alright. To give up pick 37 is a bargain (although you did also drop 7 to 10). After two knees he's refound some form in the second half of 2004. Good luck to him.

Another year where we have stuffed up. Lets have a look back at some of the stupid things collingwood have done.
1999- Traded pick 3 and clinton king for McKee and pick 7. Pick & they took Danny Roach who did not play a game. Pick 3 could have landed pavlich. McKee has proved to be worthless..

Pick 7 still could have landed McPharlin or similar, if we'd picked him we wouldnt be crying over spilt milk so much. The trading wasnt the whole trouble, it was equally who we picked. We needed a ruckman and McKee was useful for a number of years..

All right, so what did we get for everyone else except williams.

Schauble's a hack. He spends more time in the injury room than on the ground, and when he's on the ground he's still as slow as ever and he still cant kick.

That leaves the McKee trade and the Mal Michael trade as our only real errors, and Michael was asking for huge money that at the time he didn't warrant.

Morrison may or may not be a success, you can only go on form which is very good, but remember two things:
1. We basically got him for free
2. We are a young side and a bit of experience wont do any harm.

Yeh our guys have stuffed up some trades/ drafts, but remember that Buckley, Licuria, Holland, Clement, Rocca, Wakelin were all picked up from other clubs, they are all in, or close to our top 10. Add in drafting guys such as tarrant, B-johnson, cole etc.

Finished strongly after a poor start, spent the middle of the season in WAFL.

Morrison's possession count and general place in the side relied heavily on Ben Cousins being out injured.
