Is this Bailey's next development idea? 18 disposals and three goals straight today.

Not a bad one today, took some nice grabs (the one at CHF, and then the contested grab in the goal square) and is a lovely set-shot, very composed.

Should be interesting to see in the last month.

If you look at his U 18 vision, its similar to how he played today. I think if he were 12-15kg heaiver he could pick hit CHF.

I get the feeling he's going to be Bruce MK 2. Which doesn't necessarily bother me too much as I think when the time arrives, Morton's 200 games would be most likely better than Bruce's.

Bruce has has 200 pretty bloody good games.

I think because of his height, they've viewed him as a legitimate forward target from the outset. I think Morton even said as much just after he was drafted, that he would spend time at centre-half forward eventually once he put on some kg's..

Its a good idea IMO. I think he'll play predominately as an outside midfielder obviously, but I have visions of him and Watts switching between midfield and forwardline creating all sorts of havoc for the opposition in the future...

How many teams have a wingman who can be switched to KPF if needed? Or a FF who can pick up 7-8 disposals per qtr in midfield? I have no doubt that wherever Cale plays, he's going to be a great player and a nightmare to match up. They're doing their best to make sure that Cale isn't Bruce IMO.

Could follow the same career path as Pavlich if he can significantly beef up.

4-5 years time vs right now.

Watts = Riewoldt
Jurrah = Franklin
Morton = Pavlich

Just imagine all three of those guns in the same team right now. We could have the equivalent in 5 years if you want to be unbeleivably optomistic and if everything went our way.

I have nightmares about him going up for high overhead marks when he's uncontested. All 20kg of his body is stretched out to his max.
