The great WAFL stories being told by IP and rotto got me to thinking, who was the opposition player you admired the most, from days gone by.

I'll kick off with Benny Vigona from the 80's, loved him! Before him it was Quartermaine? from EP, I think. He was the first non-Swans guy I really liked.

Probably Gary Buckenara, he could do it all take high marks and kick goals.

Loved the way David Palm used to play for the Cardies...as tough as nails. Also liked Rod Alderton when he played full forward...only about 175cm but to be able to hold a key position and take the marks and kick the goals he did was outstanding.

Leon Baker was outstanding too.
