Voted for the return of cogs

i still remember how he went about the game b4 the injury ravaged last 3 seasons.
he was so tough and hard, exactly what the tigers midfield needs especially with his class and accurate disposal.

if he can get back to just some of that form i would be a very happy on looker.

All of the above but I would be very happy to watch our backline develop into a top notch defence. That's what you need if pushing for a crack at finals footy.

:)Voted for "Other" ......... that being, seeing Mitch Morton evolve into a more consistent and dangerous threat up forward.
Interesting to see that Mitch was nominated as one of 10 players The Sunday Mail in Adelaide is calling the Breakthrough Stars of '09.
Booted 46.18 last year, according to the Mail, a fair return for his 18 games.
I think Mitch is capable of deleivering big things this season.

Sidenote: The article also listed Trent Cotchin as one of the Breakthrough Stars too.

Apparently he plays just like Jason Akermanis. There's I reason I buy the Herald Sun instead of the Advertiser.

Cotchin will never live up to the hype you guys have given him. He won't improve much and will suffer the second year blues.

What are you most looking forward to for this upcoming season?

Edit: Mods, could you please change the poll so we can see who voted what? Not vital, but always interesting. Thanks
what about your first round draft pick, should be as good as
JON, tambling,
shultz, fiora, meyers

LMFAO @ more people being excited about Cousins, a junkie who hasn't played a game in what, 18 months after tearing a hammy, than a star like Cotchin's development ................ Just goes to show how the Tigers love a quick fix over an up and coming star ..............

P.S what do you really think will be more vital for your 2009 season and beyond ??? A fit Cousins or a fit and improving Cotchins cause I know who I would take in a heart beat ...............

I'd say 18 months is ample time to recover from a hamstring injury. Judd wasn't given that luxury and is still struggling.

And yeah every Tiger fan would take Cotchin over Cuz. Maybe not for season 09 but definitely in the long run.

You really have no clue .......... He is KILLING it at training, and has said he is back to full fitness. Why do you think he is #2 in the Brownlow betting odds if he is still "struggling" ???

And Cousins didn't just do a hammy, he TORE IT OFF THE BONE. And at 31 it is that kind of soft tissue injury which starts to make a huge impact on the chance of it reoccuring ..........
