I know I'll be disagreed with but I think he's too good for the BP.
His awareness is lacking, but I think he could be taught to be a very good wing/HBF. He is very quick (He'd be the quickest at the club I'd say after Flash, it just doesn't look that way due to his poor peripheral vision) and has very good disposal, is big and strong and a good mark. Possibly an Embley type role but spends time on the HBF as well.
I actually thought he'd end up as our no.1 tagger before Bartram came along.
Interesting comparison though - Bartram has no business putting that body out on a football field yet adjusted to the game within a few weeks to play 22 rounds.
Jones and Bate have shown they don't take a backwards step and look at home on the ground.
McLean is close to our best player already.
All four of those guys are natural footballers, as far as they know the game very, very well. And none of them are as physically developed as Bell or Col.
Bell and Col, just seem like they aren't fast enough in the mind to play midfield yet.
