I know we all like to slag him off but what about Tenace?

He's now in that position where he's utterly dominant in the magoos but is able to use his pace to become a poor-mans Monica in the 1st. Once he's got a really good handle on his role and how to do it under the most difficult circumstances he could take a really good HB line and make it menacing.

At the end of the day, if he's the 22nd player picked you'd have to feel pretty good about the team.

Copernicus is right, it is extremely hard to pick out of our team thus far, we are stacked with potentially good allround players who wear their hearts on their sleeves.

1. Mackie has been a revelation in the move to the backline.
2. Stokes continues to play like it is his last game, inspirational.
3. Varcoe, doesn't get it much but the pressure he puts on the opposition is absolutely fantastic, what the club needed.
4. Wojak, breaking the lines like a burley chesnut in the caufield stakes.
5. Nath, he is just so good off the ground, he is getting better and better by the week. Plus his fitness is now looking better, now 3 years out of country u/18s and looking great.
6. Blake has put King out of a job, starting to believe in himself and making most GFC supporters believe in him and his rich talents. He will be unreal in a year or so.
7. Egan, easily our second best defender. Strong and extremely versatile, very quick hands and great stability.

These weren't in any specific order, just off the top of the head. We have many others, some knocking on the door but it is heavily bolted shut, too hard to put them in.

Definately should be getting opposition best/2nd best forward but Milburn definately is a contender for 2nd best defender. Hell I think he is not that far of Scarlett.

Mackie. When Mark Thompson was referring to guys who were playing for their place in the side when we were losing, this guy was who I thought of immediately. I thought, wow Mackie has run out of luck.
I was wrong!! He just needed to get the right mentallity, now he plays with such a hight skill level that we always knew he had.
Last few weeks hes been essential! provides so much agility and speed now through the half back.

Blake. at the start of the season I was like 'blake who' now hes making me want to keep King out of the side. Permanently.

Matthew Egan. What can I say about this champ, such a reliable, professional player, who applies himself 100% to the not so simple task of keeping the ball out of opposition forwards hands.
