Well?

IMO Tambling will have the most improved season in 2007. May not be the best player on the list but in terms of improvement I would say him just ahead of Roughead. All the others have set a high level for themselves to try and better it would be hard.

Hairstyle? Brownlow date? Best academy award sell to the maggots? For teams performance over 2005-06, I give the nod to the Doggies.

Is this yet another Tambling insecurity thread? The subtext is just too obvious. :)

There are many players that will break out like every season. Tambling should show a bit this season. Johns for Essendon has been training well and him getting the 3rd or 4th tall will be very dangerous. Monfries, Nash an Winderlich as well are on the verge of good seasons. Cooney i feel with added consistency could become a real elite.

Looked like Tambling had bulked up heaps in that picture that was posted the other day, can see him starting to put it together this year.

Roughy likewise. Won't ever have the magic of Franklin, but will be a genuine power forward.

As is your obsession with the Tigers. Think again fool as I said Tambling is not the best nor will he be at the end of the season but IMO he will show the most Improvement. Which is what the thread is about.

Just a question Parrot, why do you only post on the Polls Board? Your on the site a lot yet I only see posts from you here.

Looks like I was spot on, hence the raw-nerve reaction. Hilarious. BTW, for the record, do you think Tambling will perform better than Bryce Gibbs in 2007? :)

Far from it, once more you have missed the point. This thread is about improvement. You know the thing your hoping the Blues will show in 07.

Um i think Roughead may improve out of sight after 2 years in the system. Key position player, especially players like roughead who use their size, more so then a Franklin who is very athletic, take time. I can't see Griffen being most improved, he is already a gun, and yes Tambling will show a lot more, as will Ray now that they have developed a bit of body.

A couple of blokes who wern't on there may be some of the big improvers. Josh Kennedy (Carlton) will get more chances. I think Courtney Dempsey at Essendon will come on in leaps and bounds, Beau Dowler will get a shot, and Scott Pendlebury will improve a lot. Also Mitchell Clark from Brisbane.

i think roughead or possible Tamberling as players such as Franklin, Pearce, Griffin, Delideo have improved greatly already so there improvement couldn't be as large as if tamberling or roughead improved as they are not at the same level as those players. Tamberling and roughead were also both respectiverly high picks in the 2004 draft which Delideo, Griffen, Franklin were also in so it should be time for steady improvement to come from both player.

It is interesting how many people have missed the point with the thread. It is not who will be the best player but who will improve the most. It seems to me those saying Griffen, Cooney, Deledio & Franklin think they will become almost elite level players if they are to improve more than the others do.

I still think Griffen and Delideo will benifit greatly from bigger roles in the midfield and get better naturally.

No doubt they will benefit but would 3-4 more touches a game be a greater improvement than say 6-8 disposals from a player like Thomas, Ray or Tambling who will probably spending just as much time in the middle.

HAhahahahaha.

OK, it was funny for a bit. You can stop trolling now.

Sorry, I can't see what the joke is.

Brett Peake was a late starter as He stayed away from footy because of the Son of a gun thing.

In 2001 he played a season in the amateurs , played evey game for East Freo in 2002 , got picked up and has got better & better since.

There is no reason to think that a player with only 29 AFL games and considerably less junior games than the others in the poll will not continue to improve significantly more.

Took Griffen (move into midfield as a step up), think Tambling & Roughead will also show alot more this year.

Pity there was no Shaun Higgins option - he would have gotten my vote.
