By far my most hated team is the Bulldogs so of course my favourite game is our 5 point win in the 1999 Qualifying final! I went nuts that night! Living in Victoria we are sometimes lacking in great wins however I also loved our thrilling 1 point win over Carlton in 2002. Being our first win away for the year I nearly had a heart attack. haa haa. I'm interested to here what games u guys in Perth loved the most... Go Eagles!

I'm also a Melbourne based Eagles man and i don't think many can top last years win against Collingwood. Started off like a house on fire, faded a little bit and came home like a train! That win showed everyone we are premiership contenders.

Hmm, there are so many to choose from...

For excitement:
1992 QF v Hawthorn at Subi.
1998 v Western Bulldogs at WACA (8 goals down at 1/4 time).
2003 v Collingwood at Docklands
1987 v Richmond, first ever game (33 points down at 3/4 time)
1999 QF v Bulldogs
2002 v Kangaroos at Manuka - written off when we needed to make the finals

For just sheer "wow weren't we good today":
1995 annihilation of the Crows at Subi by 135 points
2003 demolition of Brisbane at Gabba
1996 crushing of Melbourne at Optarse by 106 - after we had lost the previous four games.
1988 v Essendon at WACA by 99 points
1994 GF, still our biggest win over the Cats
1995 v Freo, first ever derby.
1991 v Bulldogs at WACA, 118 point win and Suma kicked 13.

The 1992 GF of course is memorable for many different things.

And for a game we didn't win
1995 loss to Carlton at Subi - one of the great games of the 90s
1990 QF final draw with the Pies

Good point man i forgot about that collingwood game (not sure how though) that was an awesome performance (even better coz i could rub it in the face of all the pies supporters at school!) i just guess that carlton game was more emotional coz we hadn't won in Melbourne for so long! But that was a great match! Lets hope we can have a few more great wins in Victoria this year.... maybe ill see u there! Go Eagles!

Ah, yes, the Troy Ugle match. Back pocket in the first half and has five goals kicked on him. Moved to the forward pocket in the second half and redeems himself by kicking six as the Eagles storm home.

Well that's what I remember anyway.

West Coast 2.1....6.6....8.10....16.12 (108)
St Kilda....... 9.3..11.4..12.5......14.6 (90)

Would have to be one of the Dudd's favourite memories

Under the "wow we were good today catagory" I would have thought the 117 pt thrashing of freo would be up there !

for me apart from the two flags it has to be the bullies game at the waca in 97 or 98. Down 56 pts in the first qt - finished up winning the game.

Probably would have been in the list, but I was living in London in 2000, so that game (and the 114 point crushing of the Crows a couple of weeks later) doesn't stick in my memory so well.

Edit: Here's a listing of every game we've ever played, sorted by winning (or losing) margin http://www.eaglesflyinghigh.com/sta...anyyear&year=&numresults=450&Submit=Run+Query

Be warned it might take a while to load. Its interesting to note that the club has played exactly 400 games including finals.

Ummm, yes. You would be right there. I'd just remind you I *was* living in London at the time; you don't get the footy scores all that often...

1992 Grand final easy. Still watch the tape, that I taped 12 years ago! also brisbane by 69, collingwood last year, roos at manuka.

2 Tough games in a row in 1993.

Mainy hits the post after the siren as we go down to the Blues by a point.

Stewed on that one over the bye and then the next game, Paul Salmon, who couldn't get it through the big sticks ALL DAY kicks the winner for the Dons and Kevin Bloody Sheedy swings his jacket.

These games have stuck in my head for too long!!

Arguably the greatest game of football I have ever seen.

For me, the 1994 GF because I was there. Then the 1999 v the Bulldogs because of my Cheer Squad involvement at the time.

Great list Mr Q - looking forward to seeing you in the Bay.

well i'll have to say the 92 and 94 Grand Finals, but of more recent ones i'd put last season's game against Collingwood - a lot of screaming in our house that day - and the the one point win over Carlton in 2002 - how awesome was Hunter's goal! That round definitely gets a lot of play on my 2002 season highlights dvd.

1990 final vs collingwood - draw.

1992/1994 gf - obviously. I have to also say 91 was very memorable, even though we lost. I always kept reassuring myself that they were going to replay the final, because the ground at waverly that year was really shtty.

2002 vs carlton - 1 point.

2003 vs carlton - demolishing.

2002 vs kangaroos - really inspiring. some of gardy and cousins ruck combos were great.

i also remember the belting we gave to st kilda, in either 00 or 01. it was just so good to finally give a team a belting and actually win. I remember milli kicked a bag.

gee, it's great thinking about all these great games.

but 92 still does it for me.

Was that the one where we overcame them in the last quarter making up about a 27 point deficit?

If it was it was sensational. I was standing there on the southern wing (pre-development) with about 10,000 other people really going off. Fantastic day and IMO a coming of age for the Eagles.
