Edit: Read thread title, Dal Santo would be the most valuable.

Dal Santo would be the top choice, Judd would be overpriced, Cousins would be bad for our culture and we are not really in the market for a KPP.

Dal Santo is the type of player we need to actually win the ball, then give it out to our quicker players.

To do that Dal Santo would essentially be admitting to all Saints fans what we already know in that the Saints had their chance and blew it.
I'd like to see that. Doubtful, but would seriously like to see that.

Realistically if any were to leave their clubs Dal Santo would be the easiest out of them blokes to pick up (trade value etc). Would love to see him running around in the red and black.

Well Judd is clearly the best player out of them. 2 reasons I went with Dal are
1. Salary cap. Bringing Judd in would mean he would be getting aroind 15% of the cap, unfair.
2. Dal is the type of pleyer we need. With Pev and Hef not too far from retiring, we need someone with composure and real in and under presence. Dal is the best for that.

and i've already deleted about 5 already, some people are obsessed

bit early for trade threads about who we should get, this one is ok discussing one big name who could suit us, keep trade threads to a minimum until at least September

yeh i agree if ya discussing one player to get who will help your team thats alright but when people starting talking about every trade imaginable thats going a bit far. when your sides season is over whenever that be, thats when u can start.
Dal Santo woould be the one to get, but we could do a deal where lucas and another goes to freo or a 3 way deal for Pavlich. It could be done, but I wouldnt like to see it because I think Lucas is a great player.

Freo would never go for it either. Pav and Judd will stay where they are. When is the last time a club traded their captain against their wishes? They wont want to leave because they must think a premiership is possible in the next couple of years.
The word over here in Perth is Judd in particular is keen to go back to Melbourne.

Maybe so, but only the kangas and the bulldogs are really in a position, salary cap wise to make a play for him. Doggies would need to give up too much and Judd wont want to go 2 kangas, IMO.
