As far as im concerned. Windows Movie Maker is giving me the absolute shits.

Error after Error after Error, continuously results in me losing work, or else destroying my existing footage.

Does anybody have a better program for making movies? I simply cannot stand it any longer.

I agree movie maker is terrible. Every time I put music on it crashes.

Sony Vegas looks good. I have download the free trial yet, but it looks complicated but it will be better than movie maker. I think to buy it is a lot of $$$$$ though. :)

'Vegas' is the most uncomplicated movie editor I can think of....

'Premier's' pretty good for PC. 'Final Cut' if you have a mac. There's usually no big difference though. Things like transitions and filters are crap anyway (unless you need to lift the light levels). Stick with clean shots.

Vegas is good. Adobe Premiere was pretty good too.

If you have a mac, iMovie is sufficient IMO, although Final Cut Express is meant to be good too.

Yes i used windows movie maker to make my afl files. Often has work lost. I would basically make one edit, save. edit, save. Edit crash. Reload. Took forever to do the goals from Geelong vs Richmond.

Been thinking about getting Adobe Premiere for the next season.
