MP3 Player

Okay... Ive been doing my research and let me tell you, it is so hard to find a good MP3 Player. All have there positives and negatives like size of songs it can hold and battery life. Also, some are bulky whilst others are plastic that could be squashed by a cat.

What Im looking for;

* Trusted Brand: iRiver, Creative, JNC.. these sort. Not much of an iPod person.
* Cost: Has to be below $500
* Size: Not bulky, not too small. Not triangular or round either.
* Battery Life: +10 hours (at least)!!!
* MBS/GIGS: 256MB + (no need for a massive 40GB or 60)

I realise that they all cant have these and it is a pain in the bum. Basically, if you are satisfied with your MP3 Player a review would be helpful or any ideas.

Im definatly a Creative person as I have had one before.

I, personally would go for an mp3 player in the Iriver IFP series. Probably the IFP-999 ( 1GB Flash memory, Colour display, '40 hrs' of play time, USB 2.0, battery charged through USB, Alarms etc etc., can read text files). Don't know the price of this though. Theres also a player in the IFP-1000 series with digital camera, but I wouldn't ever consider paying extra for a player with a digital camera.

I’m also looking at buying an mp3 player, preferably a 20gig Ipod. Just a few questions as well:

- Where would be the cheapest place to purchase one from? I.e. stores and also overseas...
- Are the other rival mp3 players much better/cheaper?
- If wanting to play music aloud how much will a speaker set me back? And/or one of those where it can be played through a radio?
