The Kosi one is the strange one, basically saying he had no choice but to barrel into Reid, just plain weird and wrong IMO.

I don't really care though, we won't see them again till 2013.:cool:
 
I thought Milne would get off. The other two incidents should have gotten 2 weeks each in my opinion yet they both pretty much got off. Both lined up the Collingwood boys with hip and sholders and hit them in the head.

It is okay to Clean Up Collingwood Players
 
i am with Matty, i have no interest in either StKilda player being suspended for bumps. However, the reasoning given regarding the Milne incident is just totally ludicrous and implausible. ( Whether Milne was suspended, fined or cleared bothers me not)
Has any player in the 100 year history of this game attempted the 'kick' the ball with the toe of the boot pointing at about 75 degrees to the ground. In other words a total studs up tackle to kick an AFL football.
Absolutely amazing wording, quite simply, they cannot be serious!!!
Please take another look at this incident as you read the MRP verdict if you want a laugh...

Best laugh though is that they will not make the finals now courtesy of the Pies and that makes me very very happy,some of the MRP decisions are a joke I thought 4 weeks for Ziebel,s bump was a joke just no consistency at all.

Not been pleased with the match review panel for quite a while now Judd and Waite escaping suspensions in recent time,s,Hunt standing on Betts hand and getting off virtually,don,t know who is on the panel but some of their decisions are a joke.
 
I'm not surprised the Wellingham hit didn't get looked at after the let offs in the Queens birthday game.

The problem is that some weeks these incidents are weeks of suspension and other weeks they are nothing. As the heading says, it is a chook raffle. Nobody knows any more what is a "reportable" incident. Perhaps the approach of finals has led to a change of the rules. I yearn for the simpler days when striking was the major charge, and all of these bump judgements didn't exist. Sliding tackles are reprehensible one week and not of interest the next. No wonder we all have contempt for the AFL and its committees.
 
Probably the wrong thread, but what did Milne say to Harry? Cos Harry was pretty fired up after that.
Just curious.
