They were the only two incidents to be investigated. They didn't even look at the Wiz. Although I have to be honest - I thought there was a chance they get him on a tripping charge against carroll.

Full list to pick from just about (Hase excepted of course)... :thumbsu:

Rugged Fremantle on-baller Josh Carr is free to play against Sydney on Friday night after he was cleared of any wrong doing in an incident with Melbourne's James McDonald.

The report from the Match Review Panel reads like this:

Brian Harris, Western Bulldogs, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence for striking Adam Hunter, West Coast, during the third quarter of the First Semi Final between the Western Bulldogs and West Coast, played at Subiaco on Saturday September 16, 2006.

In summary, his poor record and carry over points from within the last 12 months means he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point), in play (no points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of six activation points, which relates to a Level Three offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has a total of five matches suspended within the last three years, which increases his penalty by 40 per cent to 315 points. He also has 78.75 residual points from within the last 12 months, increasing his penalty to 393.75 points and a three-match sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 295.31 points and a two-match sanction.

Other incidents assessed: No Charge Laid.

The Match Review Panel reviewed contact between Fremantle's Josh Carr and Melbourne's James McDonald from the second quarter of Friday's match at Subiaco. The Panel examined all available video footage and also interviewed players and officials from both clubs. Taking into account the statements of the players concerned, the absence of any injury sustained and the inconclusive nature of the available video footage, no further action will be taken in this matter.

Fremantle midfielder Josh Carr will be free to play his 150th game this weekend in the Dockers' preliminary final after the match review panel cleared him of any wrongdoing in an incident involving Demon James McDonald on Friday night.

Available video footage of the incident between the two was reviewed on Monday but the panel was forced to take into account the statements of both players as the footage appeared inconclusive.

The panel also considered the lack of any injury sustained by either player and spoke to other players and officials before reaching its decision.

The 2004 Port premiership player is one of three Dockers expected to play this week who won flags with other clubs - Peter Bell (Kangaroos 1996 and 1999) and Des Headland (Brisbane 2002) being the others.

When quizzed about the incident on Monday, Carr said he couldn't even recall it.

"The first I heard about it was this morning when I picked up the paper and had a look, that was the first time I heard of that," he said, before admitting that he has to be wary of how his aggressive on-field demeanour is perceived by umpires.

"I suppose you've got to watch it because you've got to play within the rules.

"Especially with the finals, you don't want to miss a Grand Final or a prelim final or anything like that, so you've always got to be careful and that's how I look at each game.

"(But) I play the game the same every week and it's not going to be any different this weekend."

Last time the two sides met, Carr managed 13 possessions and kicked one goal but it is his intimidating nature in and around packs that the Dockers would have missed should the panel have opted to go the other way.

In other match review panel news, Bulldog defender Brian Harris has been charged with striking Eagle Adam Hunter and can accept a two-match ban with an early plea.

Harris's hit on Hunter was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact, in play and high contact which equates to 225 demerit points and a two-game suspension.

He has a total of five matches suspended within the last three years, which increases his penalty by 40 per cent to 315 points, as well as 78.75 residual points from the last 12 months.

His penalty is therefore increased to 393.75 points and a three-match ban but an early guilty plea discount of 25 per cent is available, which would drop the penalty down to 295.31 and two games.

If the Bulldogs take the penalty handed down, Harris will be unavailable to play until round three of the 2007 home-and-away season.

The Bulldogs have until 11am on Tuesday to decide whether to accept the penalty or take the charge to the tribunal.
