200 V 6, and the 6 win? Surely not. Baseball bats or no baseball bats.

I know our school would have told these idiots where to go. We've got some massive units at the school (including myself :p), and this issue I'm sure would not be popping up all over the news if they were to get owned. One of the private schools must have got attacked I reckon; "Don't dirty my blazer!" :D

You seem very experienced.

I am just simply amazed that 6 blokes with bats walked into a park with 200 year 12's drinking and one of them didnt get ****ed up.

Seriously use the half rule and you have 6 blokes with bats walking into a park with 100 drunk year 12 blokes, if they had tried that in my year the media circus would be over the 6 blokes who copped a serious beating from 100 drunk clowns with bottles.

Bring on 300......Tonight we dine in Hell!!!!

EXACTLY!

Something strange about this whole story....unless these Kids were all EMO'S...possible in todays messed up lick-spittle Refugee loving Leftie hell hole society of Victoria i call Fake!.....Camera Shot on iPhone or it never happened......seriously 6 V 200??? and they ran and worse let women be hurt.........Damn hope China aint lurking on this Site or we are all screwed.

As per your school, the story would definitely been 6 thugs got the Crap beaten out of them boohoo the Age newspaper about their human rights or not. Seriously you went to my Highschool in Adelaide and you were a bloke who wore white shoes to school they had better be running shoes cause you'll need them. That and the other past time of making Ninja stars in metal shop.

from what ive heard people could actually recognize the voices and body shapes of some of the attackers....are you a current year 12?
any of this true
and don't give us some bs about kids giving them a scare they hit girls and guys in the face
no girls where it. just a rumor, calm down. and all the pansy emo kids were not invited. but think about it someone gets hit. if they want to get back at them someone needs to make the first move. at 6 guys with bats. and there was only about 120 not 200.

Is this a pop culture reference ? If so it's gone way over my head :p

Actually a suburb or two away from Mt Waverley :D

I'd never heard of it before, despite being old enough. Guess I was more into Warner Bros cartoons...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Valley

Secret Valley was an Australian children's television adventure series from 1984 made by the Grundy Organisation and first shown on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The concept was developed from a television movie of the same name which was produced since 1980 by the same company.
Secret Valley was a fictitious children's holiday camp which had been transformed from a run down ghost town into a resort. The children who worked and visited the camp often found themselves in battle against a gang of "bad" kids - Spider McGlurk and his gang from "Spider Cave". These battles usually featured flour bombs and other food related missiles and everyone inevitably ended up in a big mess.
Spider McGlurk and his gang were not the biggest threat to the peace at Secret Valley. Secret Valley was also under threat of closure by the local council, and property developer William Whopper (also known as 'WW') played by Hugh Keays-Byrne.

Jason Moran and Gangitano took apart the Sports Bar in King St many years ago with basically their fists and some billiard cues. I'd imagine there were probably plenty of pissed blokes standing around there that night wondering what the hell was going on.

Its amazing what some shock and intimidation can do - even to a big group.

That's what I was thinking too.

I don't want to make light of what happened to these kids, especially given that one of these thugs broke a girl's jaw FFS, but yeah, if that went down when I was in Year 12 the 6 guys probably wouldn't have been able to get away without some sort of serious medical assistance.

Yeah, I was gonna write that I couldnt understand why 200 students wouldnt/couldnt/didnt **** their shit up. 200 v 6. Surely theres not that many pansy emos running around these days?

I would have put money on the 30 or so blokes when I was in year 12 winning that one, let alone 200 (with probably 80-100 blokes).

They must breed them soft out Glen Waverley way. Wouldn't have went that way in Dandenong/Sunshine.

Can not believe it myself, any school who have a decent bond and even with some alcohol in you seeing some randoms coming in and bashing the shit out of your school -mates while you were having a celebration wold have gotten any other school pissed. 200 odd vs 6 with weapons still i believe 60 vs 6 with weapons, the 60 would have come out on top with 10 on 1 but in this case your looking at 33 to 1. Sure the first couple of blokes would have got a massive hit or 2 who jumped them but after that those 6 would be in ICU.

Poor effort Mount Waverley high school

Is that the same school that got bashed by 6 people in comparison to the 200 they had??

haha What losers seriously, wouldn;t be surprised if the 6 people that bashed them with baseball bats were from the all girls school

hahaha weak, weak
your so big talking from behind a computer screen. come down to mt waverley and say that, see what happens.

there was rumor going round they were going to get avila with water ballons filled of urine a week before muck up day but dont know if they actually did it.

Those masked thugs were obv the anti muck up day crew in disguise.

Seriously, that's a disgusting act though and I hope the law catches up with them. Not going to condone vigilante behaviour but I wouldn't have shed too many tears had the thugs lost. :D

When I finished school we had a controlled muck up day on the oval. Water bombs, eggs, flour, fish sauce, tomato sauce it was on. But it was only the yr 12's that got mucked up (and the oval) so it worked pretty well.

Our muck up day wasn't planned by many, but the guys who did it supplied a lot of the year with the necessary weaponry.

We had an assembly where the year level got presented. We were able to leave the hall prior to the assembly finishing. Our school was four modules around a pretty big courtyard, and when all the other students got released from the assembly five minutes later and walked into the courtyard we got them. Harmless, but fun and managed to put some terror into a few.

been to the old mount waverley a couple of times. I think i would have not just stood there watching my school mates being bashed up. Are any of you friends at that school.

And getting a teacher in a head lock (probably a female teacher) at Mt Waverley station as you clowns were going to do some lame prank. GET A LIFE

And i'm the tough one behind my computer look at yourself you weak piece of shit 200 vs 6. Oh no were out numbered and have a bat each. Not the sharpest tools in the shed at Mount Waverley Collage are we??

ROFL- thanks for the belly laugh :D

No place for violence on MUD. That said, it's been around for ages. Let's keep it relatively under control and not be a bunch of old boring farts- weren't we all there enjoying that ourselves?

The principal of Avila came out and said that was complete crap..no MW student touched any Avila teachers, and as for the water balloons with urine in them, apparently it was just fish oil.

Anyone see the news yesterday? They were going on about how out of control the year 12s were from some all girls school. And they showed some vision of them just screaming and dancing, just having fun ...

mate you dont know jack sh*t. atleast 2 or 3 people got hit trying to protect other people. im sure you would have run away.

200 vs 6? there was only 100-120. Proabably just over half were chicks. and they were not picking a fight they were in to get one person then straight out. they were there for 30 secs max. and for everyone that said we were weak for not fighting back we did. 30 odd grabed bottles and were going to go back down and get them but they werent there, because they just wanted to get in and out.

I'm guessing your parents are blood related.
great comeback:rolleyes:

Only 120 hmm well that a whole lot better. Grabbed bottles about 5 minutes later when you finally felt you should do something about it rather than chase them when they ran out? :thumbsd:

everyone made sure they got away safely. then went back to see if they were still there so it was 30 seconds to a minute not 5 mins.

Anyway, having 200 kids party in a suburban park on a Monday night is plain stupid isn't it? I'm all for letting kids give it a nudge when their classes are finished before their exams start, but if an unsupervised (by security or parents) party for 200 students in a public reserve isn't asking for some trouble then I don't know what the f%*k is.
).

I kinda thought it was illegal too... in that drinking in a public place such as a park was illegal.

But definitely a good point. People have enough trouble controlling a party in an actual venue these days..
