8. New Born - Origin Of Symmetry - 2001

The build up with the Piano going into an awesome bass line and then Matt just takes you away with that riff and instantly Muse have your attention on this album. You won't find many more songs that highlight what Muse is about and what every band member is capable of.

I was in a meeting the other day with a girl called Sidonia.

That's all I have to say about that.

Oh yis

My number 1 Muse track for a long time. Maybe it still is. Pure rock and roll Bliss (see what I did there?)

You are so adept at loving the great Muse songs but you keep being a single whore with Green Day. Absolute bullshit

I can't understand your brain

18. The Handler - Drones - 2015

This song is a steaming pile of horseshit

You've been doing so well otherwise, what the heck

Just like Drones is a steaming pile of shit compared to the first 5 albums

Showbiz, Origin, Absolution ,B Holes and The Resistance are all amazing as shit

I actually liked Drones and preferred it to the 2 albums before it, its hard for bands to keep sounding fresh while making stuff as good as their older stuff but the riff on the The Handler is really good and as I've said on both lists I'm a sucker for a good riff so that song and another song of Drones is still to come on my list

7. Uprising - The Resistance - 2009

Uprising fits both the lyrics and the music in this song, the Bass once again is incredible that will stick in your head for awhile, the way the song builds is so good and there is the reason this song got so popular it's great to sing along to and makes you want to "Rise Up" (pun intended) Every band member again gets a chance to shine and show their skills.

Resistance isn't really that much chop. If we're completely honest, it would be hard to find more than five songs outside of Origin, Absolution and Black Holes for a top 20. On the plus side, this thread made me put Absolution and the live album Haarp on in recent days.

6. Hysteria - Absolution - 2003

The Bass.......if the bass at the start of this song doesn't do it for you than maybe rock music isn't for you, as I've said I'm a sucker for some good Bass and this might be some of the best you will ever hear. The whole song doesn't let up and the chorus is just so good. Was extremely tough to chose between this and my number 5 but either way this is an incredible song.

5. Starlight - Black Holes And Revelations - 2006

This song came out right when I was really getting into music and going out of my way to listen to new bands, id heard songs of Absolution but I was 11 years old and couldn't buy my own album and also couldn't remember the bands name to check them out haha.. I remember not liking Knights Of Cydonia at the time and decided maybe Muse wasn't the band for me but I heard this song on Channel V and thought "Hey I really like this song" And this song sent me on the path to check out more of Muse and even to this day I still love this song from the awesome Bass intro to the upbeat piano and the song gets better and better as it goes.

4. Time Is Running Out - Absolution - 2003

The first ever Muse song I ever heard and how bloody sexy is that Bass at the start. I ****ing love the build up into the chorus and then bang the chorus comes and it's so so good and then the song just gets better and better as the drums and guitar start to build in. Music video is also pretty good haha

9. Map Of Problematique - Black Holes And Revelations - 2006

The start to this song is incredible with the piano kicking in and the whole band just creating an awesome vibe for the song. The main riff doesn't let up which could be seen as a ad thing with the song sounding pretty similar all the way through but it still sounds so good

End the list here.

3. Reapers - Drones - 2015

This song does everything right for me, everything from the riff and how the song is arranged i just love. That opening guitar reminds me alot of Van Halen and then the riff comes on and damn its good and it gets even better at the chorus and i dare you not to have your head nodding with the guitar here. Guitar solo's are a rare thing these days and not only does this song have one but its an absolute belter with Matt Bellamy proving he is one of the best guitarists currently going, i also love when the Bass decides to join in with the Guitar at the 3.09 mark its so bloody epic and made me instantly love this song. The last minute or so reminds me of the end of "Freedom" by Rage Against The Machine and their you have the complete package of what i love about a song.

Reapers is good and all (definitely better than The Handler) but number 3 Muse all time?

Would have liked to have seen Panic Stations in here somewhere

Panic Stations was sooooo close to top 20, Repears does everything I like about a song in general, the first time I heard it I loved it straight away

Reapers is the pick of Drones, loved Panic Stations too, but as I said earlier, as much as I like some of those songs, it would be hard to justify a place ahead of so many songs from Origin, Absolution and Black Holes.

Love love love Neutron Star Collision, it is s fantastic song

It's hard coming up with just 20. Been a fan since the beginning, my Hullaballoo DVD is nearly worn out.

How ****ing good is Hullabaloo

2. Dead Star - Hullabaloo Soundtrack - 2002

You want a hidden gem well this is it, this song isn't on any major Muse album so it could be easy to miss but anyone who loves a good riff needs to check this song out. The riff is so good it gets your attention straight away and the Bass my god is it good. This song is straight up power and was extremely close to being number 1.
