What do you guys listen to at work? At mine, we play CD's of our choice. Sadly most of my workmates have really crap music taste. I had to put up with 4 hours of Cliff Richard last week. It drove me insane.

Does anyone else have similar nausea inducing experiences at work and what can I do about them? I have a self-burned compilation CD that I play whenever I can, but generally have to put up with Elton John, Cliff Richard et al when my taste is Powderfinger, Foo Fighters etc.

Yes, I make up my own compilations, and listen sometimes, as I am now. I keep the volume down, out of consideration for others. Perhaps you could suggest others use headphones? :D

For the record, my latest compilation is:
1. At Least We Tried - Moby
2. Final Goodbye -Rihanna
3. Sexyback – Justin Timberlake
4. Forever Young – The Youth Group
5. Too Lost in You – Sugababes
6. She’s a Mystery (to Me) – Roy Orbison
7. How I Miss You - Foo Fighters
8. The Special Two – Missy Higgins
9. How You Remind Me – Nickelback
10. Superman – Five for Fighting
11. Last Request – Paolo Nutini
12. Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol
13. Fire – Pointer Sisters
14. Anytime – Brian McKnight
15. Guitar instrumental solo (can’t remember what the name is!) – Santana
16. While My Guitar Gently Weeps – The Beatles
17. I’ve Got to Have You – Carly Simon

These are all a bit soppy, but I'm ... errrr...... having a few issues with my girl. Normally harder-edged stuff than this :D

Pity me, I've had the misfortune of sitting next to someone who played Anthony Callea's album on repeat from 8am to 5pm every day for a fortnight.

(And she's a woman in her late 40s)
There is no choice: she must die.
