last year he was injured a bit, missed a few games with punctured lung or whatever it was from game against west coast at the dome

he debuted in '96 and has only played 130 odd games so that indicates he has missed a few games with injury or otherwise

Johnstone's better than O'Bree. He's very inconsistent but you'd hope that at a new club he'd get his act together. He needs a bit of mental disipline. MM should straighten him up. We have more to gain out of that trade. And the reason why Melbourne might accept it is because O'Bree is on less than Johnstone, so it would ease their salary cap pressure.

yeah well that is what i was angling at.....if obree is on less than johnstone than we should try to trade as obree has run his race at collingwood, and johnstone will just play on a wing and there would be a flanker/midfield role open up for someone like brayden shaw or whoever to POSSIBLY slip into next season
