My New View on Dockerland

[Freo Hitman]

Last season I had many harsh words for Shane on the way he conducted the site & the way he unfairly edited them but today my freinds I am gonna eat humble pie at the perfect opportunity so them guys can see it some how & apoligise for them words I wrote last year /season.
I shouldve known better & realise my points of view aint bigger & better than anyone elses & there for if it aint heard it wont be missed.
2ndly if it was my site I would also edit/ban people who didnt agree with me or people or losers I hadnt yet brainwashed with crap
3rdly Garic from the Freo Mob on the Dockers board is a discrace , this is the last place he should be , he should be in AA whether he posts on Dockerland I dont know but its something I had to get off my chest , twice I met him & twice he slurred with a beer in hand , not a good look.
4thly Les Everett shouldve got the 2 year term.
5thall people from Dockerland I love the postings
pity I dont get to see the best of it.

yeah hitman, your missing out on something special if your not part of dockerland.com I spend alot of time looking at the other non official sites and dockerland.com shirts on the others.

In fact dockerland.com is mentioned in alot of the other teams boards because they cant believe what goes on in there. The humour and the subjects are incredible. Im hanging around here now until the 13 Jan. Set the alarm clock and right into it again.

Shane works damn hard and has created one of the best AFL fan sites on the net.

I enjoy people who are passionate about their club but I think you maybe getting a bit precious. The thread that you started announcing your reurn to this board was inspirational. And taking a cheap shot at Garic was rather average too.

How about you put your ego aside and acknowledge that if you want a fan site that suits your needs go put the hard yards and create it yourself. *rant over*

Its Ironic isnt it , that 100odd years ago it was a split in the orignal Freo board & perhaps personality clashes that led to Freo's demise & the formation between East & South Freo. Imerial purple your 100% correct in your comment & alot of people aint anti Dockerland they are just disorientated in what they do & go about things. I am not saying what is said on the site is 110% *****e , its actually 90% truth but whats grates on me is I have seen great contributions only to be edited only for the "regularboys" to say the same *****e 24 hours later unedited.
If anyone personally knows Shane , get him to PM me or someone who is in the clan ,PM me- if you's wanna ignore this then on the site put up a code of ethics you want posters to follow , you may well then get a board that is more united on a larger scale.

& The West Coast Faeces are the real Enemy , its gonna be a joy seeing the clubs supportters who for so long has had the silver spoons in their mouths fall to the level to where there pulling splinters from there arse !!!

Funky monk I am as passionate as anyone here & I know that your no less so I aint gonna knock ya. Shane is one peson I aint gonna accuse of being lazy , he may well be popular with his "mates" but he has gotta learn to be more recptive of outside views , I love his site , stories & the board is over moderated as said in that magazine "inside spots". As for Garic he may well have been a popular choice for some people but them same people have been blurred in what is best for the club & Garic is not the best for the club.
At the end of the day its not about ego's its about the success of the FFC and thats waht we all want , we should strive for the best. Every supporter should have there say who's on the board but with Garic on the board he may well be a spanner in a well oiled machine at the moment. I am sure we will get that side of our game right aswell

Fair enough Hitman. It's just that from where we sit things seem to be easy. At least Garic put his hand up and has been vocal and passionate enough for enough of us bozo's to vote for him (I voted for Everitt). You can't say, "Hooray for democracy" and then say "democracy sux" when your man doesn't win. At least we have a vote.

I still think Dockerland is cool.

Dear fellow Dockers,
Between work and a free taxi service for the kids, my hobby is computers. I seem to spend more time on other peoples computers fixing their problems than my own puter. ( Being a free service to friends, relatives and work mates etc ....... I'm in demand ) When I do get time, I enjoy reading the footy message boards, have a giggle and some times even post. I have never harassed or abused others, nor do I expect to be harassed or abused for having a different point of view. I have however been critical of dockerland. I only posted there occasionally and most times they are deleted. Being a 1958 vintage and a Claremont supporter, I probably see some things differently from others that post there. I really don't understand the dockerland V freo mob thing and I don't want to. But if dockerland is a web sites for mates only..... don't advertise it....simple. Thank you for your time and good night.

*I haven't met Shane but I'm getting this picture of a power hungry skinny little computer geek who wants to one day control the world all from his computer. Over at blockerland they like to portray themselves as hairy chest working class ( wharfie, truckies, brickies ) type of people, unlike the pompous snotty nosed chardonnay sippers up the road. When in fact the serial posters are school teachers, public servants and office "workers" ( most of the posts are between 9 - 5 ) If you want to be on the "inner" circle @ blockerland, It helps if you grew up in the Coogee area and your a South Fremantle FC supporter. Having said that, I still go there for a look and a giggle when time permits. Keep up the good work Freo MOB.*

By the way IP, My son went to the AFL shop to do some Chrissy shopping and bought his Docker loving Grandad an Eagles coffee mug. Thats my boy. There is a god after all.

Error - maybe he views your posts as unfunny, self opiniated junk or maybe it is just because you are a Claremont supporter ....both are technically valid reasons at Dockerland.

If Dockerland is a boys club - why wasnt I told? and do I get a certificate (if so Moo has 2 o's).

On Dockerland Vs Mob - there is no feud, however it assists both sites in marketing so our PR Consultants have advised us to continue the dispute.

Anyway Imperial I can live with the unite against the common enemy theme.

Never met him in my life. Closest I have come to a conversation with him is on email when talking about things happening at dockerland. I run the fantasy football league over there so it is inevitable that I speak to him every now and then.

I guess I am one of these people that feels the need to defend someone when I believe they are copping the short end of the stick. The amount of crap shane cops is over the top. There have been threads dedicated to his bagging that have run over 6 pages, all because people don't like the way he runs his own website. Really, is it that important to the people doing the bagging, or have they got nothing else to do.

I do the same sort of defending on the main board here when people like Chris_Judd run their mouths...

Hey, if you don't like dockerland, don't go there, but I see no need to run down shane and the site at every opportunity.

Funnily enough, I doubt shane would let a thread like this (bagging someone else for little reason) exist on dockerland...
