Dropped off a bit. Struggling to use the ball again going inside our forward 50. Only nab but that always seems to be a problem we have. Efficiency into forwards.

Nice of essendon to give us a nice training drill. They should be wearing orange jumpers with reflective strips.

Mostly we've looked polished under limited pressure but when it has come we've been a bit too cute at times.

Nelson and bennell making strong claims for a round 1 spot, duggan not so much. Karpany needs a lot if improvement before he's AFL ready

Structure with schofield and eMac down back giving us the flexibility to move Gov around as necessary is looking dangerous

Still lose momentum in the square when Nicnat isn't on there but it's a tough gig for lycett filling in for the best in the comp at centre bounces

Redden looks like he'll slot in nicely as well once he gets used to our style

A pretty good first half for us, nice and sharp going forward. Better efforts from Darling and Yeo this week. Would be nice to see Redden get a few more touches in the second half. Bennell has been good up forward again.

It's the thing his critics never grasp. Disregard the individual stats we're simply a better functioning team when he fires

Nice start, Sheppard looks stronger by a fair margin this year. Priddis is still our best player even at the ripe old age of 31, never liked him much over the distance but he is all class.

So not the guy knocking the ball down our midsfielders throats?

Duggan has looked better but not enough yet. Not sure if he's being instructed to stay away from the cpntest unless it comes to him. Would love to see him laying some hard tackles or breaking into space. Seems a bit lost at the moment.
