If it was on the same weekend as Clipsal, and it was a night game, I would go for sure. The concert line up is just getting crap.

Why would this be a problem? the more away games the better, it is a trial.
The only reason I would like to see the Crows do well in the pre season cup is that the games will be televised and we`ll get to see first hand how the youngsters perform. but otherwise the whole concept is overrated.
At the moment round 1 looks to be at Subiaco, it is a perfect lead up for that game.

My reason is purely selfish as I like to try and get to as many games as possible throughout the year, including the pre season. Having to travel to Perth three times in one year puts some pressure on the budget!

But from the team's point of view... it will be stinking hot and making the journey over a number of times in the season could maybe be tiring for them, I don't know. It just seems a bit unfair as well, especially given that Essendon supposedly only have three interstate trips for the regular home and away season.

If so that is quite ridiculous, and Collingwood will probably get 4 interstate games again this year right?
