anyone know if we miraculously beat the saints this week does that mean we would get to host the gf at subi the folowing week since we had to forego our right to a home game this week cos of acca dacca?

I am just so happy our young players are getting this sort of experience before the season - on good grounds with pressure.

A good preseason campaign is always a good sign, it's better than a worse one!

were are certainly not uncertainty's against the Sainters, Nab upsets are not unusable. Any way i hope we play in Melbourne because i want to go. Wasn't able to go to north game:mad:, am defitnetly going to the saints game.

Assuming we win we'd likely play the Doggies, surely it'd make more sense to play this at Subi in front of 35k than in melbourne in front of 25k max?

We'd deserve it anyway, but that doesn't mean shit to the AFL.

A few years ago there was the rule about most goals in the preliminary rounds gets to host the final. If the Dogs win we would probably have them covered (27 to 22 now). Port win and we'd likely lose on that count. Port would also have travelled the last couple of weeks so could argue for a home final on those grounds too.

If it was based on likely crowd, obviously we'd draw more at Subi than the Dogs or Port would over there. And it would be bloody harsh to expect us to travel to Melbourne 3 weeks in a row. The travel burden on Port is nowhere near as bad.

But it does depend on getting over St Kilda, who weren't exactly dominant last weekend - they needed a piece of Seaby arseclownery to get over the line.

Honestly, I dont think we will have to worry about it. Saints are going to kick our butts.
I don't know.............i gotta a feeling.

I tipped West Coast:eek: over Dogs at Coloniel last year :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Due to this feeling.

also i am on fire this year. I predicted Pav would kick 3 in the first nab game. and i predicted that bulldogs would win by 57 over the hawks on friday.:thumbsu:

hehe - just had to quote that cos I truly believe there are few bigger arseclowns in the AFL than Seaby.

:D

This is completely true. This photo of Seaby and "friend" rehearsing for the Sydney Mardi Gras parade proves it.

As much as i hate how much travel we are doing in the pre season.
I would prefer we played in melb will be great for their development, big crowd most against them, pressure of Final, having to travel back an forwards from perth 3 weeks in a row.
To overcome all that would be fantastic for their development.
