David Mundy finished third in the National Australia Bank Rising Star Award which was decided in Melbourne today. Brett Deledio won the medal with Ryan Griffin the runner up.

i say ryan griffin was very unlucky to miss out, amazing tackler, cm perfect skills, reads the play well, he is going to be a star, definately one to keep a very close eye on

Well done to Mundy. He has been fantastic for us this year. Poise and skill, and lots of room for improvement.

I think where he finished is about right. He didn't set the world on fire, but was consistent and appeared unrushed in general play.
