ch 7 advertising all morning and arvo that they were going to replay 'the match that went for 5 hrs, an AO record' at 5pm

I forget to watch the start so I think 'ah well, will miss just a fraction of the first seeing as it went for 75 minutes in itself', so I turn on the tv at 5:20pm and it's already 2-2 in the 5th set.

Get ****ed...

teasing me with making me think i'm going to be able to tape the entire match

so many matches i've taped before and haven't turned into classics, yet so many classics i havent had taped (safin-fed, fed-nadal, roddick-elaynauoi etc)

^I didn't even know when the women's final was being played (don't follow the women's game).

In hindsight, but even before the event as well, yes, that's what they should've done for those who appreciate good tennis (yeah I know ratings, sponsors blah blah).

Great match, just some of the most impressive tennis I have seen. Verdasco has that new level now, it'll be interesting to see hwo he goes throughout the eyar. Always gerat to see someone keep going for their shots. One of the best matches i've seen, quality wise it beats last year's wimby final, but that match had more drama considering the rain delays and that unbeliebable TB.

Power King, you actually thought they would not show the news at 6?

^I thought they might've done what they do with the footy sometimes. Stop the match at 6 for the news, and then once it's over, continue the match.

Was obviously living in false hope seeing as I really really wanted to tape the match, especially after considering taping it yesterday but for some stupid reason not doing so.

Was one of the all-time classic matches.

I didn't see the Wimbledon 2008 final live, and by the time Fox replayed it I already knew the result. But this one, watching it live on TV, was an absolute epic.
Hopefully Fox will replay it in full at some stage soon.
