Hey guys i'm just going to push the due date back a couple of weeks for this one.

I'm about to go on holiday for a week and I have an assignment due before I leave, so we'll push it back to Sunday 15th September.

That may or may not be helpful for me, currently absolutely swamped, or exhausted from work to actually even think about designing. But the new date is certainly better than this weekend, as my entry was just not going to happen at all if it was, at least this makes it a slightly higher chance (even if still small).

At this stage, I really don't have enough entries to run an NAFL season, I have 5 or 6.

I'm considering lowering the barrier of entry to make it a bit easier for people to get a design in.

Would more people be likely to enter if it was just 1 kit?

I know this is not ideal, but if I had a few weeks I reckon I could make another design or two if wanted. I'd love to help out if needed.

FJGD has for sure been in a bit of a lull at the moment.
I'm working away in Ararat for a few days but I might be able to get something done when I get back if you haven't pulled the pin by then.

Would hate to see the premier design comp not go ahead

Nah crickets unfortunately.

I'll try again probably early in the new year with a stripped down NAFL.

The Yin Ke Moneylenders up for a big season, I've heard their killing the competition!

A introduced Yin Ke to lend money to B (B is the deceased's husband), and then B asked Yin Ke to pay it back slowly, but Yin Ke refused and threatened to kill him. In the end, the couple died.

(I guess meme culture is everywhere now)

Crossed my mind recently and thought I'd just throw it out there. If we get 8 or 16 entrants, let's do a cup format with home and away kits over 2 legs to showcase both kits equally. After the result, the finalists are subject to a draw much like the FA Cup. I'd love to dust off the ping pong balls and conduct the draw much like the IAFC one again but life's got in the way. Perhaps the good old 'Wheel of names' can replace the numbered balls this time around

Hey to all involved, just wanted to check up on everything and see if any small improvements had been made for the competition. I feel now 2024 may be a 'wash out' and we may have to move onto the 2025 season.

Either way, would love to see a good return of NAFL in the near future.

that sounds good im planning on getting a new editor soon and pumping out 2 big folios of work for ideas ive had built up, im exicetd as the quality will be as good as my canberra idea if not better so it means i can do more and become better
