The all in one week had sides without socks and shorts wining?
I've always thought leniency in general towards socks and shorts being in entries was fine, but particularly in the all in one rounds as the images are so big as to accommodate several kits. Perhaps the less important elements can be left off starting with the socks.

In a comp where you have to enter guernseys, shorts and socks it should count for every entry.

On the other hand it's a fantasy graphic design comp on a particularly niche sub board of an Australian football forum so maybe it's not that important.

Yes, but it works the same way. They keep working on it until they're happy. Entering it as close to the start of the season as they can allow you to come up with more ideas, as well as tweak a few more things to benefit you.
Please keep working on it. We can't stress this point anymore to you young'uns. It will benefit you in this comp.

Yeah, we should be encouraging people to put as much time and effort into their designs as possible, even if it's before this season even ended.
Thats what makes everyone better. Thats why the standard has been so high that even the Reserves league has been too notch.
