Pick your 7 forwards for your best 22 - 6 starters + 1 bench rotation.

Plenty of exciting goal-kicking options this year :)

Mine:
F Betts, Jenkins, Menzel
HF: Lynch, Walker, Cameron
I: Knight

looks like I'm the first to leave Lynch out.

no genuine weapons in my opinion, and with the rise of Knight and the acquisition of Menzel and Milera you can deal a hell of a lot more damage up forward and strengthen our midfield rotations to boot. Lynch lacks pace, penetration with his leg and ultimately versatility.

on Milera, he obviously has a lot of water to go under the bridge yet to be starting 22, but so does Menzel and plenty of people have picked him already.

also see a spot of McGovern opening up too, if he can hit his stride I see him becoming our best marking target.

Lynch is our link up man. He led the league in goal assists. That's a ludicrous call.

Don't be silly....but do agree that Gov could pressure his spot one day

Going on current voting, Knight is getting selected twice in our squad (in the mids and the forwards)
Interesting.

Will end up naming the best 22 on overall voting, to take into account votes split between defence/midfield/attack... As knight, Smith & Seedsman in particular will have split votes.

I like yours. Although I'd try and fit Milera on the bench instead of Knight and chuck Knight in the midfield rotations.

That is seriously one scary forward line.

Betts Jenkins Menzel
Cameron Walker Lynch
I; Douglas

Knight on the wing but still rotating forward

Milera to develop further in 2nds

Anyone worried that the Crows Forward line is Small, I would look at if Fit
Dear 197, Jenkins 198, Betts 173
Menzel 187, Walker 192 , Cameron 183

Rotating Lynch 191 on the wing where he has been basically playing for the last few years, With Menzel and Jenkins when he Plays Ruck

Dear really hasn't shown anything to warrant selection. I wouldn't be picking him on the sole basis of his height. He really hasn't had any time to develop due to injury, I'd wait and see how he goes this year in the 2's and then re evaluate whether he is worthy of being in the team. I wouldn't bet my house on it though.

Besides, I don't think our forward line is that small at all. It gets results so it's not a concern for me.

HF: Knight Walker Lynch
FF: Betts Jenkins Cameron

Int: Menzel

Geez, this forward line. If we'd brought in Milera and Menzel most other years they'd be shoe ins to play a number of games early, but now we have the luxury for them to develop/recover in the reserves. Lynch showed last year what he can do when he has an injury free season, a key too our forward line. Jenkins finally started to throw his bulk around in the back half of the season and it worked great for him, 50+ goals is not out of the question.
Since coming over from Carlton Betts has made a massive impact to our forward line, i can see him having a little quieter year this season due to rotating through the middle and just the natural development of our forward structure. Walker for the Coleman/all Australian double.

Didnt play too many games last year due to injury, but he did well in the few he did.

If he can stay fit and keep up a high level for the Ravens, he could be a good bet in the second half of the year. Not in contention at the start you'd think though.

Probably the most clear cut of them all

Betts Jenkins Menzel
Cameron Walker Lynch
I: Hampton

Have Hampton on the interchange for now as I like his versatility and x-factor. I have named Knight in the midfield group as I expect him to take the next step in 2016, so the 7th forward spot is wide open at this stage. Atkins could get a gig here, same as Milera if he shows good PS form.

Rough his Mcgovern here. Serious talent, but I think he's still coming from a long way back after struggling with injuries all throughout 2015 and seasons previous to that. Chance to make an impact in the 2nd half of the season I reckon.

Lynch hasn't been "basically" playing on the wing. He has been playing as a high half forward. The wings push back even further and have a role to play at stoppages around the ground. They're different positions & roles.

Lynch gets ball inside the defensive 50 runs it 20 pass then pick up the receive on the forward 50 Thats a wing
Then we think back to when the Interchanges were around 70 - 90, and the style of football played, Teams flooded back cutting out the run in the forward 50, to combat opposition teams either had 2 tall monster Forwards, or they increase the interchange numbers. This year they cannot increase the interchange numbers, so the trend will head towards Monster forwards, To fit one in the Crows will need either Lynch or Walker to play high in the Midfield to get the balance right, To me that will be Lynch rotating with Knights and Menzel on the Wing and Half Forward,
The Crows have 3 Forwards that can fit that role, Jenkins, Dear, Lowden or we look at the Older Ablett style leap with Doedee, Greenwood, Walker prior to injuring his leg,
