When he comes back in a week or two he should be able to play most of the year no trouble, it isn't a recurring type of injury what he has (unless it has already developed into a stress fracture and the club is pretending he's fine..)

this isn't simply about some pain killers. The man snapped his leg in half and now hes having stress related issues in the same area. We all wont him out there as much as you but lets have him out there 100% and for the rest of the season not just 1 week for year.

Definately runs out at seasons end though and is likely to be offered a reduced contract IF he gets back on the park.

Not out of the realms of possibility. You would have thought N.Brown would have been wrapped in cotton wool over the 5 month off-season to get him right for round 1. If he gets a stress related injury in the off-season I cant see him holding up to proper games.

Nah, he actually trained every session and played every pre season match, so has not been nursed throught this pre season. Still a bit of a worry, but seems to be an increase in sterss related injuries in the last couple of year. Drought related?
