I clicked on the thread and it directed me to the start of the thread with Collingwood supporters calling his career over, I luckily checked the dates but the back tensed up for a second.

Still hoping it will be payback for Luke Ball.

A big call I know but I’m supremely confident Freezer plays senior footy in the first 8 weeks of next season.
He’ll be finally let off the leash during our pre season games so his aiming to really make an impression early.
He’s been told in his exit interviews that he possesses something that we require, ball winning ability and acceleration from stoppage.
I mentioned on a few occasions this year that we were confident that all of our groundwork into his biomechanics and the subsequent re-training of his core/glutes/quads to take more load off his hamstrings was a success. We then seen a clear spike in confidence in his body from Nathan himself when he started dominating VFL games. His GPS data in critical areas such as power running improved dramatically and he was very, very close to getting a senior call up before injuring his foot/ankle.
He’s a good kid who is now settled into our team and has become close with the boys and who now realises what footy means to him and the most pleasing thing that I’ve heard from him is that he’s not desperate to play AFL footy to prove the doubters wrong, he’s desperate to play AFL footy for our medical department and our coaching staff who have shown enormous faith in him.
I’m an optimist when it comes to our players but I just have a feeling there’s a couple of heartwarming chapters yet to be written in Freezers AFL story.

Trying not to get my hopes up again. But I can’t help it, it would be such a good story if he does get his shot.

If the story about Steele is true he may get his chance sooner rather than later.

Howdy all,

As per my other post, the BigFooty Saints player sponsorship is open again for this year.
And once again most likely we will be sponsoring Freezer, which will be our 3rd year of Freezer!

Reasonably cheap ($25 per share) to get involved and support the club a little bit as well as maybe getting a gig to a event throughout the year etc
We even have members who reside overseas and interstate and still get involved year after year!

Based on previous years I can say that those involved enjoy the additional banter and discussion of the sponsorship events throughout the year.

If anyone has any q's/comments happy for you to PM me
