I don't think anyone is not behind him, we all hope he'll come good but a lot are starting to think it's more and more unlikely by the year. he has played a handful of VFL games since he was drafted while guys drafted in his year like Boyd and Bont have played in premierships already. Josh Kelly is an established star etc. To save our sanity we write him off as a nice surprise if he makes it. I feel the same way about Paddy, if he makes it it will be bonus now. They are both injury prone and now while I hope they make it I'm a bit doubtful their bodies will ever allow them to play much footy. There is a bit of a Xavier Clarke feel about Freeman, heaps of talent but he's badly let down by his physical resilience.

I am more than confident Freeman will make it body wise. He looked a step above VFL level last season and would happily play him round 1 form permitting.

He's in that mid forward group so perhaps Koby Stevens but really if he's in form and has his pace back he would be starting.

I tore loads of hamstrings back in my amateur playing days and the only time walking is badly hampered is if it is a really nasty one. If it is just a standard one, after some ice etc on it after you do it and for the next 24 hours you can normally walk unhampered so he could still have done it even if you saw him walking unfortunately.
