That's why there is such a high correlation between a large injury list and success.Welcome to modern football and the new attrition rate. You need 35 to 40 players to win a flag now because if you don't redline your players the other club will. A dozen players on the injury list in any given week is a good one, new world, new order.
Welcome to BigFooty 20tenben - not an auspicious second post - a newbie lecturing long term posters on reality - way to goWelcome to modern football and the new variable that must be accounted for if you want to succeed: attrition rate. You need 35 to 40 players to win a flag now because if you don't redline your players the other club will. A dozen players on the injury list in any given week is a good one, new world, new order.

Well I was actually reading the Freeman thread on my board but for some reason they talk about everything but.I am glad we were able to motivate you to join. Hope it is a long and respectful stay.
Hi Bill.Well I was actually reading the Freeman thread on my board but for some reason they talk about everything but.
Your supporters are no different to mine, they all want to blame the Pies or Davoren or Bucks, but the simple truth is that we are playing in a new world and apportioning blame is pointless in that new world.
You probably would have found it amusing regardless of where I put it in my post.i think you are right, the truth is probably closer to the middle
what i do find amusing is you spent the last part of your post highlight what freeman did wrong
I think you know the answer is that I'm more concerned that Collingwood couldn't get him right after two years. I didn't highlight Freeman's mistakes to absolve the Collingwood hierarchy, I did it to make the point that you generally won't get the full story if you look at things from a single point of view.the question i have for you, is who's neglect is more concerning. collingwood officials who are paid very very well (amongst the best in the league) to get the program right or a young player doing stupid things that young people often do?
I'm not so sure that Collingwood has been 'hurt' from this whole saga, but it's certainly placed the spotlight on our medical and rehab team, which from the viewpoint of wanting our practices to continually improve, can only be a good thing long term. Time will tell if St Kilda can strike the right balance for Freeman to get him back playing without running the risk of popping a hammy every time he takes the park, but as it stands, he had a 'minor strain' whilst training in the rehab group before Xmas, and now 2 months later he's still '2 weeks away'. It's a familiar story to all Pies supporters, and we'll generally laugh about it, not because we have ill will towards Freeman (well most of us anyway), but because reading most of the posts on this board saying 'he'll be fine/it's only minor/we're just being cautious is like a massive dose of déjà vu from the past two years.who has hurt collingwood more here. my bet is the numerous collingwood officials who didnt get the program right.
Cloke had a calf issue towards the end of the year. Swan I honestly can't remember. If he did, it only kept him out for a week or two. Neither were long term injuries.I remember recently that Dane swan and travis Cloke had some soft tissue problems
It's a crazy planet, it's a bug planet.Well I was actually reading the Freeman thread on my board but for some reason they talk about everything but.

I think you missed his point.Cloke had a calf issue towards the end of the year. Swan I honestly can't remember. If he did, it only kept him out for a week or two. Neither were long term injuries.

Thought he might be, but you know, just in case...he's taking the piss

No I chose to call you out without derailing the thread, a courtesy not always afforded to our Freeman thread.Or some posters send childlike infantile PM'S about 2010 or wooden spoons or like a 12 y.o send shots of Luke Ball.
You are nothing but a filth troll. Please take your infantile trolling back to your filth board. One more PM from you and it is straight to Kildonan who has already warned you.

To address what he said publicly would have adversely affected the thread, but seeing as he chose to make it public with the same result I was trying to avoid I gather your point.I might call you out and when it comes to artillery, you're seriously out-gunned. Sending unwanted PM's to saints posters is not a smart move.
