Feel free Joop to post on the Pies board about our clubs never ending '2 weeks' advice.......even though this is complete BS and our club has been more than upfront and honest.
Last time I checked I can post wherever I want.
Does posting on another teams board make me less a supporter? Am I a trader? Grown up you clown.

Remember this '3 weeks' is sourced from the Herald Sun, not the club.

I think it comes from an article that mentioned he was 5 weeks away (2 weeks ago).

It's probably not any new information from the club, they're just basing it off previous reports.
I could be wrong but I thought the sun got updates from the club?
Anyway one thing we can all agree on is that in 3 weeks freemans playing somewhere and gets through injury free.

*hopefully playing somewhere.
Think your just setting yourself up for disappointment if you are expecting him to be playing in 3 weeks

You grow up Joop. As per my earlier post the club advice as of 6th Feb was an accurate and blunt statement of where NF was at and wasn't '3 weeks' as you keep insisting. You seemingly have interpreted more positive stuff from posts by itk's as gospel. You are flogging a dead horse and its achieving nothing.

Your article doesn't prove anything. He did his hamstring in December, he was only out for a couple of weeks. This has been changed numerous times, most recently to 3 weeks.

I think joop is right to question the progress of Freeman.

Brian Speaking just before he left dropped that Freeman is seeing a hamstring and tendon specialist because he cant go more than 80% before he feels like his hammy's are going to ping.

Is the club telling us the whole truth, or are they covering up that we may have recruited a crock?

Close to giving up. The article proves the clubs advice isn't what you claim it has been

The clubs advice in December was 'out of training', you are ridiculously implying this was 'match ready' in 2 weeks.

Would have to assume they are telling the truth.
If we find out in a month that his hammy's are still stuffed then we can get angry and question everything but for now I don't think there's any reason to not believe them.
The club have made a point to be transparent in everything they do recently.

There's two issue, Nath's condition and quite seperately Joop's insisting the club has been 'Hammiling' a neverending '2 week' loop of coverup.
Posting mistruths on other clubs boards belittles our club imo, especially on this one.

As I said I don't know because the club won't tell us.
I've explained all this before, try actually reading my posts.
As I mentioned previously. If there was a grandfinal today Freeman could play. He Said as much to a poster at the season launch. So yes that means if the club wanted to,he could play in a game tomorrow.

The reason he isn't is because he has missed 2 years with a hamstring that was mismanaged. The club just want to ensure that when he does play he won't be set up to fail but set up to succeed. It's also as much mentally as it is physically. Anybets he would worry everytime he pulls up sore from a big workout. Now the club don't need to update anyone about this as he puts more pressure on the kid. He just wants to play football not have supporters harass him if he gets reinjured etc. He has been training. I haven't heard what Brian posted so I won't comment on that. But I do know the above

Why do so many get uptight on numbers like 2 or 3 or whatever? He'll play when the club thinks he's ready. Conjecture on when is pointless and arguing about it is even more pointless.

This.
We can discuss and pontificate till the cows come home....he'll be ready when he's ready.

About an week or so ago, the club indicated that he could potentially play from round one but they are taking a conservative approach with him and that he has been in full training for the couple of months(according to the club).

If he isnt lining up in the vfl by about round 4 then everything that they have said has been smoke and mirrors. I was the first one to criticize the club at the start of Jan when they said he was out for a couple of weeks after the minor strain he had before Christmas.

Time will tell and i have been holding off on criticizing them about the way they report on injuries this year and last.

That was out of training for a couple of weeks in late December, as anyone would be if they twinged a hamstring. HE WASN'T TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM BEING GAME READY BACK IN DECEMBER, because at that stage he had only had a few days of training with the main group! Nobody would be considered game-ready if they had only done a few days of football training, especially someone as young as him!

After a couple of weeks he would have started training again, but he did so either on his own, or in a rehab group, with the aim being to get his hamstring stronger, so that when he joined full training with the group again, there would be less chance of him breaking down again.

The 3 weeks that he is listed at at the moment is completely different, as he is now supposedly ALREADY IN FULL TRAINING. They are saying he is now 3 weeks away from PLAYING A GAME, which is HUGELY different from being two weeks away from resuming training, which is what they said he was back in late December.

Its pretty obvious that the timeline keeps shifting because his condition is assessed on a day to day basis and that they are being super cautious. Healing rates are arbitrary numbers, this isn't like forecasting the weather (which isn't 100% accurate either).

I couldn't care less if it was 3 weeks or 6 weeks as long as they get it right. If he gets played next week and has another injury, not only will the club look foolish but it could also ruin a persons career. Leaving nothing to chance is the only logical option.

Telling. Indefinite means they have no idea when he is getting on the park.

Starting to get a bit concerning

They don't even mention him on the saints website so the paper may have just come up with indefinite. Ive heard he is on track, well he was 10 days ago when he spoke to my daughter.

He spoke to Greg Williams daughter and she said
