Word is he wants to return to WA. There is a thread on the Draft and Trades forum.

Do we want him? What would he be worth? According to some port supporters he signed up for 2 years mid-season.

I'm a bit unsure about him but to be honest its mainly due to his last name.

Any thoughts? Maybe Seaby in a trade?

Swift and silky crumber / winger type. Possible headcase though.

It's a tough one, but as I and others have mentioned in the superdooperhoolydooly thread, whatever we table as an offer will only be beaten by Freo who love to pay over the odds more than they love beating us to a player.

I don't know headcase is the right word..... homesick would be more appropriate. (some family deaths etc)

That's fair enough. But I'm sure you're aware of our 'new breed' ethos at the moment, and as such the club and supporters are scared of even the slightest off-field indiscretion taking place.

Would be a risky proposition in that regard (just going on what I've read) but in footballing terms he is perfect for us.
 
4th Round Pick + Swap 3rd round Picks possibly?

He's not worth a 2nd rounder.
 
Will be in Freo colours next year anyway I feel.

I reckon we could've done some good work with him, but we'll most likely pick up a similar type at some stage in the draft. No big loss if we don't nab him.

He is worth a third rounder at least.

He is worth a second rounder if he keeps his head on. The Krak-risk may bring it down to a third rounder.

Agree, I think it will be Carr and a swap of picks for him (with Freo losing position). Yet to work out if they would swap 3rd or 2nd round picks.

Freo can not handle to lose a player and a pick, but only gain one player.

Otherwise they will be using pick 165.

I agree Greennick.
Im sure that Krakouer will be in freo next year, Fits there profile.
I also think that Port will give up there 4th rounder with the trade.

But the Question being do we want him?
I say NO not interested at ALL
 
what about pick 36 + 20 for krakoeur + 24

Port loose: Krakoeur and 24
Port gain: 36 and +4 upgrade of their second rounder.

WC loose: pick 36 and a -4 downgrade of second rounder
WC gain: Krakoeur

36 means squat to us, and I would say Krakoeur is around the 20 mark anyway. Would not be much at 20 that is better, and we do want a speedy mid all ready in the system. And I think Wirra would be a good role model for him to straighten up and play some good footy.

I would agree with yarran, but i can't see him lasting to 20 (pick we may need for krakouer if we chase him).

Exactly, its a big gamble waiting for one player at pick #20 when you can get someone who has the same sort of skills anf basically all your giving up is 4 spaces (if you do my trade). It is possible that yarran (if he is able to slide to 20 anyway) will slide to 24.
 
Yarran wont slide to 24. We will snap him up at 18 if available however i still see him going in the first round.

I lean to this sentiment also, yet I dont particularly want Yarran.

I have not watched much of Krak play, people seem to think he is a winger. But also can kick goals, apparently he has speed and class which would be really handy in our midfield as there is not much speed there. If he can be developed like a Rodan, allot of pace and ability to evade a tackle It would be a good thing.

Yarran will go to Brisbane with there first Pick (7) if he is still available then. Thats a certainty.
Walters would be there at 20 he would be the next best crumber.
Walters is better then Krakouer NOW and Walters hasn't played any AFL games yet. I know who I would take Come on Down Mr Michael Walters :thumbsu:
