mmmm nah, imo we dont need any outside mids and if we do want one get Stephen Hill with pick 18, 20

we need outside mids with skills and pace. Krakouer, hill and robinson all fit that criteria. Robinson for me if available at 18

Yarran will go to Brisbane with there first Pick (7) if he is still available then. Thats a certainty.
Walters would be there at 20 he would be the next best crumber.
Walters is better then Krakouer NOW and Walters hasn't played any AFL games yet. I know who I would take Come on Down Mr Michael Walters :thumbsu:

Im a huge Walters fan as well I would love to snare him at 20. GUN. :thumbsu:

Krak to stay:

Port Adelaide’s reluctance to consider any trade offers for Nathan Krakouer has paid dividends, with the gifted young West Australian deciding to continue his career with the Power.

Krakouer, on a holiday with family in Mt Barker, will return to South Australia for pre-season training later this month.

The 20-year-old had expressed a desire to play with Fremantle or West Coast from 2009 after a frustrating second year with Port, but coach Mark Williams let both WA clubs know Krakouer wouldn’t be on the trade table.

Port’s ability to convince Krakouer that his future is at Alberton removes a potential key plank in any deal that could send departing Fremantle midfielder Josh Carr, who is determined to return to Adelaide for personal reasons, back to the club he helped guide to a premiership in 2004.

“Nathan had a few issues that he was keen to sort out and they have been sorted out,” Krakouer’s manager, Carlos Da Costa, said.

“He’s spoken to his family and friends and decided that he will return to Port Adelaide to serve out his contract and, hopefully, get back to playing some of the exciting football everyone knows he’s capable of.

“He battled some injuries this year and probably made some decisions whilst not in the best frame of mind, but he’s spoken to Port and is ready to go back.”

Da Costa said the contract extension signed mid-year and the location of Krakouer’s immediate family, who are a long way from Perth anyway, also contributed to the decision.

“Nathan is contracted for a further two years so it was always going to be Port’s call and they have been pretty strong all along that he was a required player,” Da Costa said.

“His family is in Mt Barker so it’s not as if they are just down the road in Perth and he could visit them and then go to training.

“Mark Williams has been very supportive of him and Port Adelaide does have a very good understanding and programs with their indigenous players.”

With trade week starting on Monday, Fremantle have yet to strike an agreement with the Power or Carlton, who have been nominated by departing ruckman Robbie Warnock as his clubs of choice.

Fremantle have three picks in the top 40 (three, 21 and 37) at next month’s national draft and are likely to get No. 24 at least for Warnock.

Carlton’s football operations manager, Steven Icke, confirmed yesterday the Blues had offered the Dockers their second-round selection.

“He’s indicated that he would like to come to Carlton and now we’ve got to satisfy Fremantle in respect of a trade. We’ve been straight up front and we think pick 24 is reasonable,” Icke said.
• Port Adelaide star Peter Burgoyne yesterday signed a new one-year deal containing a games-played clause that will trigger a second season.

I'd be more than happy to trade our pick we receive from Seaby to pick up Krakour.

He is a special talent, and to those saying he is a headcase, what are you basing that on, his name?
