The shooting rhythm online is entirely different to offline modes for me (and even when I adjust to it I miss shots that would go in with ease offline), but the biggest problem is just general mobility. Lateral movement is atrocious; my player responds about half a second after the command is input and it makes it impossible to keep up with the opponent. It seems to fluctuate but the past couple of days in particular it's been horrendous. With it as is I just can't defend and half the time I inexplicably can't hit shots, pretty much limiting me to just being a passer, which, in 3v3, isn't ideal. Any suggestions that might improve it? It's garbage.

Can't say I've noticed. Dunk timing is the same in MyCareer and MyPark.
 
Not reading through this whole thread to find an answer, but in MyCareer has anyone else experienced an annoying wait between the end of a timeout and the resumption of play? It's like 10 seconds of one of the opposition players on screen just standing there and you can't skip it or anything. It happens after every bloody time out. It's annoying as ****.

A few other random things like when I was playing against the Clippers, the screen panned over to J.J Redick at the huddle. He started to jog down the court, then he just disappeared. The screen panned back over to the team huddle and he was standing there. Then I was playing against the Rockets and the screen was showing them all in their tracksuits standing in their huddle and Matt Barnes was standing there. I thought to myself "since when does Matt Barnes play for Houston?", then all of a sudden he turned into Trevor Ariza and they were all wearing their guernseys.

I like the game, but you'd think little bugs like this wouldn't be happening. 2k16 is supposed to be their best yet, it's pretty rookie-ish to see these glitches still.

had both of these quite regularly. the freeze one is annoying as hell. the players just standing on the sidelines moving his hand and you mashing your buttons in frustration.

another notable one i've had is sometimes players are slow/very slow to come back on the court after a time out/sub, leaving you effectively a player down for about 5-6 seconds.

It's just not aesthetically pleasing. Fun game, but these things make it very frustrating to play!

ah k.. doesn't seem to promising.. my internet pretty shit. only get 4 mb d/l and 800kbs u/l.

it's plenty good for FIFA but online shooters are horrible

Think I've finally give up on MyCareer or at least as a shooting guard. Year after year gameplay wise it is comfortably the worst mode, despite all the time they pour into it. It feels like a completely different game compared to when you play five on five. They really need to work on gameplay for the mode where your teammates are actually capable of doing things if you can't get the ball or you're having a shit night. Even with plays being run, so many times possessions end in a horrible brick from a tough jumper. Then there's the ridiculous caps on shooting guards. Apparently a 6'6 shooting guard can only have mediocre handles, shooting and speed. Give me a break 2K you campaigners.

Really just need to find that MyGM save to become addicted to again. Had a Warriors one going but was far too easy.
 
Saw they've release a new patch. A couple of issues that have annoyed me (ball collisions, 2K Cam possession changes, alleys) seem to have been fixed.
 
I'll have to check it out. They were completely broken almost. Especially the passes. They need to add more pass types for alley oops and make the players smarter about it in 2K17. Even worse is the ridiculous swatting by the defenders of the awful passes. Looks like some volley ball like shit.
