samesies.

i played a few mt games last night, mainly the pistons challenge. i thought shooting was worse, but the stupid ball collisions where you would be moving, bump into someone slightly and the ball goes flying seem to have stopped.
 
I only play franchise my league.

Loving 2k this year.

I've done 3 so far all with fantasy drafts.

Only issue with this is how cut up the oppositions teams get after like 3-4 seasons. So uneven...is this consistent even when not doing a draft?

Anyway, started with The Pelicans.

I'm so pissed off with this game right now.

We (Hawks) were down 15 against the Pacers with 1:45 to go. I'm having an off night (9-21 FG) but suddenly I catch fire going 6-6, 3-3 from deep along with 3 steals and suddenly we are down just 5 with 0:25 to go. We intentionally foul George and he misses the 1st of 2, I'm thinking we are a good chance of winning with the way I'd been shooting.

But then the ****ing idiot coach decides to sub me and the other starters out of the game, George misses the 2nd FT as well but the bench scrubs take 15 seconds off the clock before Shelvin Mack bricks a 3 and it's game over.

Been smashing out MyTeam again, completed Domination and am up to 07 Cleveland in Historic Domination.

Amethyst Jason Kidd is a dime dropping beast and 99 ROTY Vince Carter is unstoppable on the drive.

Just ripping through Historic Domination.

Picked up Klay off the Auction House for about 6000 MT points.
 
Been getting back into it, have a fantasy myseason going with all the legends and current players in a fixed draft.

Went the Kings, got dealt the 17th pick, was very relieved as Scottie Pippen was still around and I wanted to build around the superstopping wing.

With Pippen in mind I wanted to build a lengthy team who can defend and get out in transition while having a few guys I can give it to to carry the offence when the games inevitably slow up.

I'm running a nine man rotation and it's a very solid group, on nine minute quarters hall of fame difficultly I'm 4-1. Big dominating centres get the better of me as Olujuwon and Wilt have both given me baths on both ends of the floor.

SG Mcgrady/Doug Christie
SF Pippen
PF Millsap/Thad Young
C Bill Walton/Gobert

Very very fun, the Mcgrady and Pippen combo is manic in transition and they can both take their man off the dribble which is needed when I can't get out and run, Christie off the bench as a scrapper to provide relief with foul trouble and the Jordan/Drexler type wings is immensely helpful too.
Millsap spaces the floor perfectly and can compete in the post as well, with Rondo driving and dishing to a cutting wing or Millsap at the elbow I'm spoilt for choice when I'm forced to run a half court set. Walton/Gobert are gabargemen and good ones at that.
Abdul-Rauf and Thad Young both space the floor and work well with the slashing wings as they don't see the defensive attention their offensive games deserve.

Highly recommend going against the best of the best with a team you can cobble together.

He's another one I don't really like that much, in saying that I do start Klay because he's pretty useful even if his shot isn't falling. I really like the 98' Eddie Jones that I think I got from historic domination or maybe it was a pack, really useful backup sg.

Gives me pretty good flexibility since if I want I can put Kawhi or Pippen at the 4.

Up to Cleveland in Domination but haven't really had a look at other game modes yet. Bit light on the wings and wouldn't mind an upgrade at the five, but overall the structure suits my style of play.

I got some good ones from normal Domination.

Howard, Rose, Duncan, Beal, Cousins, Evans, Parker.
 
FFS.. i beat both all star teams in domination and I end up with Lopez and Milsep.. not cool.

I think the points system in domination needs reworking.. you should get a reward for beating a team by 10+ or something. I just beat the west all stars on my 3rd attempt but it required me to beat them by 15 whilst constantly scoring at the start of the shot clock (plenty of fast break/assists points). I also shot 100% from free throws and i managed to just get the 3rd star with 6 points to spare.

Is there no way of changing the difficulty setting?
 
Just got Wall, and he's great. Especially when you push the pace.

Got Thompson from the myteam rewards. He usually starts off slow but when he heats up he can't miss.

Can't seems to get any SF's in my rewards. Either 2's or 5's.

800 is quite a lot, assuming you havn't bought VC. I'm at 400, be nice if there was some good ways to get MT besides challenges or lucking out on a pack pull.

Domination is all about cheesing and abusing the scoring system. Quick possessions, lots of quick post ups+assist plays, not a lot of jump shooting unless it's to fill up the 3 point quota (need 5 total attempts to get the bonus % points), free throws are 10 attempts for the % to count. Fast break points are huge too so get out and try to run every stop you get.

Jesus christ. Can I have some of your luck? The highest rated player I've got from my last ten or so Curry packs has been a 76. :$

Even caved and went and bought Cousins from the Auction House for 4k odd MT out of frustration, haha.
