My final pick of the best team in this competition is fidstar. Let's face it the 12th man isn't playing on this team, so I want the best seat in the house. Last time I checked my Resume I didn't have an NBA MVP.
Ok, maybe I'll take the Amar’e Stoudemire (the Phx version). You may lol, but this guy in Phx was awesome and going to be a game changer (22/9 guy before injury killed him)
G - John Stockton (was in a 3 point shootout)
G - Reggie Miller (Is/has been an NBA Announcer/TV Analyst)
F - LeBron (Two championships)
F - Elvin Hayes (Top 50 player of all time)
C - Moses Malone (Played for 4 or more teams)
Backup
G - Tony Parker (played overseas)
G - Jeff Hornacek (coach)
F - Carmelo Anthony (Has led the league in one aspect)
F - Anthony Davis (1st pick)
C - Dikembe Mutombo (born overseas)
F/G - Glenn Rice (led the league)
F/C - Amar'e Stoudemire (didn't win an MVP)
Decided I needed some defense so was going to pick Dennis, but I think he is too much of a liability. In this all-star type game coaches are going to love to be able to double off of him. So while I have manlove for him I can't pick him.
But I need defense and I need an international player. Having just checked the list of international players they are starting to run a bit thin.
So I pick...
Dikembe Mutombo
He averaged a double double in every one of his first 11 seasons. His final numbers are only low because he played until he was 72. Amazingly won defensive player of the year in 1995 and wasn't good enough to be named on the all-nba-defensive team. Work that out. Second all time on the blocks list makes him a perfect addition. Also his finger wag is still one of the most awesome finishing moves in mortal-nba-combat history.

Today is a very sad day. Dikembe Mutombo went on Highly Questionable and destroyed one of sports' greatest urban legends, emphatically denying that he ever walked into a club and yelled,"Who wants to sex Mutombo?"
Santa Claus isn't real. Dogs don't go to heaven. The moon landing was staged. Your dad's never coming home from that stint in the Peace Corps.
