As promised, thought I'd compile a list of the NBA games available to us here in Australia, via ESPN.

Just did a search via ESPN International's site, for the Pacific Rim region, and it only gives me a list of games until the end of the year (couple months at a time, I think). In any event, this thread will be sticky'd and updated accordingly. If you want the latest, subscribe to the thread and you'll get the updates.

As a guideline, I'll just post the live tipoff/broadcast times, but if you miss the games during the day, ESPN generally re-airs them here at 7:30 p.m. Melbourne time on a same-day tape delay.

So here's the first update, of the upcoming games (verbatim from my search)...

And as far as streaming audio webcasts go, I think it's different than it was last season, with the American FCC's new laws blocking many of the webcasts that originate from radio stations (which I think is a crying shame). I'll research that further, but I think that the NBA's official site at www.nba.com has some links on the various gamedays. If someone can correct me on this, feel free to chime in.

Show some respect for the Grizzlies ESPN, please.

It's all well and good to see LeBron and his losers go around week after week, but it would be nice to see a few of the up and coming teams play.

The likes of the Grizz, the Warriors and the Jazz.

Indeed. The Warriors.

Man, how I-- as a ex-pat Bay Area native-- would love to see them on TV, especially after starting the season pretty well, too.

OK, enough wearing my heart on my sleeve...

But in fairness, I think ESPN (domestic and international) set their early-season schedules well in advance. They might have a bit more leeway with whatever games they'd have at their collective disposal after January 1st.

As for alerting ESPN's international division about teams you'd like to see in games after the New Year, you can send them feedback via this link.

Good to see Seattle get a gig - one of the best teams to watch when they're on but unfortunately not a high rating team.

No Bulls games, too many San Antonio Bores games and only one Yao sighting. Sad indeed.
I haven't seen the new look Bulls since I got Foxtel years ago, don't care so much about Yao but 1 SA game is enough for me, looks like there will be 4 or 5 like usual.

I think we all know that LBJ isn't the reason they show so many Cavs games.

Thanks for posting that You_Idiot, it saves me doing the search myself:p :p

Only one Phoenix Suns game* and no Utah Jazz games, my two favourite teams hardly get a gig:( :(

Oh well, it will be good to watch other teams play and get to know the competition better.

*Well there is 2 games, but the other was last week and I missed that.

No worries, and that's the beauty of doing this thread, and as a sticky, at that. :)

I should update this very soon. Should have some new information ready to claim and post by the end of next week.

Denver are an up and coming, and exciting team. I certainly enjoy watching them play.

My apologies, all-- haven't been able to access ESPN's International schedules for January as of yet. Have been checking every couple of days or so, and will carry on in that manner until I get something concrete from them.

Fear not, folks. :)

They showed them last year aswell when they had players in their starting line up like.... Vincent Yarbrough, Kenny Satterfield and Ryan Bowen.

Looking forward to seeing B-Diddy, LBJ and the Boozer man today.

Should be an exciting contest, just hope it's a tight match and not a blowout.

Still no Warriors games, though. :(

What are the dates on those games? I haven't been able to get into the site at all to check for those games...

That Nets v Mavs game sounds like the pick of the month, though.
