I too am a huge fan of the Live series and it pains me to know that they have lost there mantle as the best BBall game around. That title sits squarely in the hands of Sega Sports and NBA2K2. This in from IGN.com, one of the best gaming sites around.

Presentation
Great in-game presentation with some nice new letterboxed replays. The load times are no longer a problem, but there are some navigational issues with the menus. 8.0
Graphics
This is a good-looking basketball game. It could use some better transition animation, but the new lay-ups and dunks are sweet. 8.5
Sound
There's nothing really bad to say about the commentary except that it's a little dry at times. The crowd sounds a little more real this time around. 8.5
Gameplay
It's faster and a little more responsive than last year, but there are still problems with things like spin moves, rebounding and the AI of CPU players. 7.0
Lasting Appeal
If Live is your game, the addition of the Franchise mode will keep you busy for months. 9.0
