You should be able to get a better deal than that. I think for 3k you can still get a Sony Bravia with a PS3.

there's plenty of threads here that prove why PS3 is superior - but let me just put it this way: I own both 360 and PS3 and I say PS3 is better

2K Sports, the sports publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Friday announced details for The Other Season, a freshly unique online fantasy league for the highly anticipated basketball title NBA 2K9.

With a new twist on the fantasy sports phenomenon, eight real life NBA superstars have signed up to participate as team owners, while online gamers playing exclusively on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network and PlayStation® Network will have the exciting opportunity to be drafted onto one of the NBA superstars’ NBA 2K9 fantasy team.

“The Other Season is an amazing opportunity for fans to be on the virtual team of their favorite NBA player,” said Greg Thomas, senior vice president of sports development at 2K. “We can’t wait to see how these teams match up against each other throughout the season.”

NBA 2K9 cover athlete Kevin Garnett (Boston Celtics) will be one of the many fantasy team owners for The Other Season, along with the other popular NBA superstars Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers), Carlos Boozer (Utah Jazz), Chauncey Billups (Detroit Pistons), Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns), Greg Oden (Portland Trail Blazers), Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls), and Monta Ellis (Golden State Warriors).

2K Sports will make a contribution of $10,000 to the charity of choice of the NBA player whose fantasy team wins The Other Season championship.

Hahaha, well they are always improving! The more dunks the better I say. The moment NBA Live can turn a defensive rebound into a dunk at the other end, I am back on their franchise.

Played this game today at EB. Was walking past EB and thought why not have a bit of a go?

Really liked it. Good gameplay, good graphics but a little too easy. They're relatively close matches for the most part, but all you have to do is find a successful route to the goal from the start of the match and just attack their in the same spot for the rest of the game. If you do that, you should be well on your way to victory. Not too bad overall, probably give it a 8.5 out of 10.
