Hard to guess.
Could be any of JDG, Pendles, Titch or Long for different reasons.
But it's actually defenders where we have the +1 based on our normal 7,7,8 fwd,Def,mid. Josh, Perryman or Houston might play midfield/wing or Houston might be sub? Or even Howe due to a return on reduced minutes - I bloody hope not.

Was out of form weeks ago, and rather give him some time in the VFL to find it, they’ve broken him.
He got credited with 100% disposal efficiency for his one handball that ended in a ball up.
It’s a big improvement on last week!

Became my cult hero after the Sydney game.
His decline in the past 6 weeks has been huge.
No coincidence that his form has impacted Nick too.
Backing him to get back to it but might have to be VFL unfortunately.

Who was the alternative?
Yeah right, he saw a player working his guts out, winning the ball and making the difference in our midfield and backed him. What a poor decision from the coach. Arrogant thing to say "backed the wrong horse!". Who else should he have backed?
It's definitely disappointing to see his form drop off, so I'll agree there.
Since Mitchell returned to the team Ned has struggled. They both prefer the inside mid role and Fly seems to be trying to use Mitchell inside, because he can't play anywhere else, and getting Ned to play other roles. It's not working because Ned's form has been slowly but steadily declining.
If I'm being honest I much prefer Ned playing the pure inside mid role, the team looks more balanced and his work in the congestion helps free Nick from the opposition.
Our form as a team has been slowly going down hill in line with Ned's decline also. I hope the selection committee identify this and stop @$#%ing around with the teams form this close to the finals or they'll play Ned completely out of form, while trying to get Mitchell back to his best, and it'll be another wasted year.

His role changed from a see ball get ball, to a tagging one, (even prior to Mitchell coming back in).
He was then replaced by Mitchell and asked to play HFF at times.
Personally, I think we need to ditch Titch for a couple of weeks and try to get Ned back in form.

Who has he tagged? He may have stood next to a serong or Neile at stoppage at times but he hasn’t tagged anyone. He was Rupert Wills on steroids for a month and it was unexpected as he even upped what he was doing at vfl level but now he is back to what he has been. I hope he gets it back more than anyone but for now it’s a big watch and pretty disappointing. Went from a lock next to Nick for the next 10 years back to a vfl player.
