need help trading

atm i have johncock and aka in my team and i am looking to trade them. i also have hodge who i would like to trade aswell. thats 3 trades early and i have already traded out mclean after the 1st round.
i may have to make 2 trades this week!! i'm not very fond of making so many trades, so early in the season but i figure its improving my team so its not that big a deal.
if i do 2 trades this week i will trade johncock 4 heath shaw and hodge 4 kerr as kerr will go up too much and will be unaffordable. i would also like to trade aker next week for either tredrea, jono brown or cam mooney depending on my money situation. i have alwyn davey on my bench so i can cover for aka as long as i need to. foley and monfries are my weaker players and i would like to upgrade them asap.

should i trade out my injured players 1st?
should i keep aka for another week and trade him next week for a cheaper jono brown?
should i trade my lesser players?

what should i do?????

Im in exactly the same position as you trying to get rid of johncock and aka. If i were you id trade johncock for shaw and hodge for kerr. This is because you wanna make the hodge/kerr trade before the values change. Kerr will go up and hodge will go down so you will lose out if you dont do it now.

Next week trade aker for brown. Personally im not a fan of those big full forwads and prefer guys like chapman and jonno but its up to you which way you decide to go.

If he doesnt perform well against collingwood then he wont at all lol and thats coming from a collingwood supporter.

I haven't really been following Hodge. I didn't pick him in the first place because I thought his price was over the odds.

I am seriously considering making Kerr my first trade tomorrow though.

Yeah I'd agree with that, even without researching Hodge.

i think its a fair call enlight of his poor form of late. i have had hodge for the last 3 years and i know he will come good at some stage, but i dont know how long i can wait. i cant hav a guy at 353k getting 60's. if i dont trade now kerr may become unaffordable and sky rocket over 400k. plus trading hodge for kerr would free up a heap of salary cap space, and kerr has been touted as the best player in the league so far (yes i know its early days) they are both the same sort of players, hard nuts, clearance players, both get tackles, quick, agile etc. also with the absence of cousins it means that he will have a lot more game time than usual, plus he will never get tagged as there is a guy by the name of chris judd playing along side him.
