Needing SERIOUS Help.....

ok guys heres my team:

Backs: Chad (injured), S Fisher, Gilbee, Newman, Mattner, P Burgoyne, Taylor, Nicoski, SD Thompson

Midsriddis (injured), Trav Johnstone (injured), Mitchell, Stanton, Ling, Stevens, Palmer, Valenti

Rucks: Cox, Leunberger, Hampson, Cartledge

Forwards: Pavlich, Burton, Rioli, Deledio, Chapman, Mckinley, Dew, Gamble, Hansen


THIS IS THE PROBLEM: with priddis and johnstone not playing this week i only have 5 playing mids......

OPTION 1 can palmer be relied on to be that 6th starting mid in which case i can trade priddis and johnstone who combined are worth about 1 mil for an Ablett/Bartel and an armitage and then have about 200k with which to uprgrade a forward or back???

I only have 13 trades left so after these trades i would be left with 10...


OR

OPTION 2

trade nicoski for ibbotson...and trade priddis for a cross/cory/goodwin/black....

this would leave me with 11 trades to go...



IS THERE ANY POINT HAVING SOMEONE OF PALMERS QUALITY ON THE BENCH???????

First of all, I wouldn't get Bartel/Ablett for at least another 2 week when their price will drop as the 250/170 won't be included in the rolling average.. Nicoski is a donkey so you can trade him whenever and wherever you like (Shakira!!) however there is no need now, unless you want to as S.Thompson is named (yay!!). I'm not sure what to do..but my advice is

DONT LET PRIDDIS GO..look at his scores..he has monster scores for his relatively cheap price (he'll be back soon 1-2 weeks)
DONT GET ABLETT/BARTEL now..they are at inflated prices, will drop UNLESS they score another 170+ score which is pretty unusual.

If I were you I'd get rid of Johnstone (what a hack) for someone like Mitchell/Kornes/... If you don't want to do that..then get a rookie and cash up for Bartel/Ablett who I expect to go down UNLESS they pull their finger (you know the rest).. I'd rather get a 95K player than Armitage....

Not sure if my advice is clear (had a few beers)..but do not get rid of Priddis (you've waited for 3 weeks) and do not get Ablett/Bartel now..in 2 weeks is better

the way i see it you have to choose between getting a 0 for one of your midfielders this week and not wasting a trade or doing one of your trades just to plug a hole this week.

with state match next week priddis and johnstone might/should be over their injuries and then you wont have had to trade them.

comes down to how many points is a trade worth?

if it was me and i had 13 trades left id cop one 0 this week and bet that in two weeks one or both would be playing again

I'd just take the zero. Rhys Palmer is a gun and is probably Freo's best midfielder at present. He is racking up the possies and his disposal % will improve over the year.

I know ibbotson had a blinder last week but dont know if im willing to spend the extra 112k on him....

This is prouds 3rd game so his price will only go up after this round.
lions are suffering some injuries so i think leigh matthews will give him more of a run....and he was named ON THE BALL this week, maybe a sign of confidence in him from the coach...he supposedly ripped it up preseason so i think i will take the punt on proud...

This leaves me with about 640k to pick a midfielder although im not sure i want to spendthat much....

basically the only mids i cant pick up are ablett and bartel...who would you go for?????????

i'm thinking boomer harvey, but his price is very much inflated right now...

ibbotsons BE is -95 this week and if he just gets what he is averaging (84) he will go up $106,000. so that could be worth noting
