I dunno about that. She nearly bloody cost us the match. How many long range shots did she stuff up in the last three minutes? 3 or 4 or something. Lucky she got the last one in otherwise she'd never play for Australia again.
Top game tho....was yelling at the television at why the Clock went from counting down to counting up again. Thanx to the commentators for telling us AFTER the match that someone had to win by two goals

Yep, also in hockey - mens and womens and obviously the union. And also a few weeks ago in squash we beat a kiwi. Great to see

They did mention it at the start of the second period of extra time. But when are Channel 7 going to put Garry Wilkinson down? Downright embarrassing as a commentator.

NZ women are, on average, far more butch than Aussie chicks, so it's an acheivement for an Aussie women's team to beat a NZ women's team at competitive sport.

But, I have NO COMPLIANTS with the ABC in their coverage of the match on the radio, they told you that someone had to be ahead by two goals in extra time to win, and they gave a fair and accurate description of the match.
Sharelle McMahon, what a champion (and she's from Bawawm, not too far from where I live), you've made everyone in the Goulburn Valley proud, and beating the Silver Ferns makes it all the more sweeter.
But, To give credit to the New Zealanders, they played well and they should consider themselves to be unlucky not to have beaten the Aussies, due to the even-ness of both sides, but all in all, it was a great game of netball.
