awesome pic, guys stop saying stuff like "gibb's body looks bad" or "brisbane players are just standing around". Don't expect the game to be perfect because it won't, EA's FIFA and NBA has had glitches for ages now and the glitches are still not getting fixed and EA is multi-million dollar business. The think that I really like about the game is the stats, its online, the contests sound awesome, so if your just looking at graphics and saying how poor they are don't bother posting stuff up here! and the second thing stop asking when its going o be released! more than likely next year but who cares with Madden NFL 11, NBA, NBA 2K11, Mafia 2 theres really no point in releasing it this year!

I agree. This is BigAnt's first go at an AFL game so we really shouldn't expect everything too perfect. We can start expecting a bit more after a new game is released

The graphics are much much much better than previous afl games, i think we all new it was TJ and gibbs as soon as we saw it, when i look at afl 2007 none of the players are recognisable apart from their number( correct me if im wrong).

Not trying to be rude or anything, but why?
I find it fun to do, maybe it's just me lol. I like playing all the games so I can see the results pan out the way I'd created them. It's hard to explain I guess, all I can say Is I enjoy doing it lol.
Now even though I'm a very passionate Melbourne supporter, I

This is an interesting way of playing, but may i ask how you decide which team for each match you are going to play as?

By watching lots and lots of footy, i live in tassie been to the MCG once, aurora quite a few times and that's it and can tell you which ground a game of footy is being played at from the telecast without hearing it from the commentators.

That shot is definitely promising but as most people have said the legs and for me the gurnsey looks a bit odd on Gibbs, thought it was Beams actually. TJ looks great and the ground and weather are highly detailed. Really need to see a live action shot.
The paused shots of the Rugby game look great so I am sure this game will be good graphics wise too. It would be sweet to see one player from each team. Also hoping that you get something with the game, some sort of a DVD, maybe best of the noughties or something. The AFL is pretty shit at DVD's though.

Obviously the teams I hate will probs finish down the bottom, then again on a particular day I may have a change of heart lol. But usually I go with who I like more as a team. Throw some games my way and I'll tell you who I'd choose in each if you like lol
Edit: (ohh and btw; don't get me wrong. I will definetly play this out for a season, but I will ALSO fly through a season (or career in this case) with the mighty dees going 22 and 0 for the flag
)2ndEdit: Another answer I thought of for the above question is; Playing every game of the season Is like watching AFL on TV every week, but having the control to win the game for the team you'd like to see win it (for whatever reason).

Hmmm I wonder if you play a game with your favourite team(suppose Port) and you play 20minute quarters. You get your main forward(suppose Schulz) to kick 5 goals each game. You then change the quarter length for the next matches without your team and play 5 minute quarters to win the coleman(for achievements i suppose). Will that work or is there a way to stop people doing that?

I can usually do that from the telecast but i struggle to do so with these games for some reason.A question that springs to mind is that will subiaco and AAMI stadium have the electronic signage around the grounds.
I will most likely be playing through a full season and I'll just play as whoever is the home team.

- I was in a rush to grab a shot before I headed home tonight - I think the match I played before this one was at Subi and I forgot to change the ground.On the logos/sponsors, as posted by someone above, I can't use sponsors on jumpers as I do not have clearance from them.
With the strange polygon on Gibbs leg - this looks OK in motion - there are very few games that don't have some intersection issues, particularily those that have tackling. With that and the ball colour, at least you know I haven't touched it up!
Hate to say I agree, but remember it is a stock snapshot of a match in motion. You can tell when the game will be in the motion everything will probably look 10x better. The player portrait pics themselves look fantastic though. Really grateful for what you are doing BigAnt.
