I would have thought Freo would take either of the local boys Clarke or Ryder at 10 if they were still available. There's a lot of players moving interstate in that list.....in a draft like this year I would have thought that clubs would be even more careful about picking players from other states.

Concerns over the seriousness of the stress fractures in his foot.

Apparently at least one recruiter thinks the injury is too risky to even draft him all, so it's a possibility we will see him slide.

Geelong pick Ben McKinley.

He can't fall forever, and Geelong could use his goalkicking, especially if he can become a Russell Robertson type.
